Matt, are the hobby stocks and young guns part of the pittsburgher weekend this year?
We gave the stocks and Young Guns a night off as we have five divisions. We have found that people just start leaving when our show gets too long. Our goal is to run a crisp event and be done at a reasonable hour. The stocks and Young Guns are back on the schedule for the final 3 events of the season. It's great to see those divisions growing a bit as beginners need somewhere to start.

Matt,
Do you have the complete payout posted anywhere?
Email me and I'll send it tomorrow. All payouts have increased significantly for the 2 day show. The BRP purse is the same one used at the fall 2 day Oct BRP show last year. I'm not even sure if BRP has an entry, assume the Mod teams know if they do. BRP runs the BRP show. No entry fees for PPMS 410 OUTLAW Sprints and PPMS Sportsman. The $3000 to win Sprint purse is pretty stout for 21 laps.
We have gone back to entry fees for Lates & Pro Lates as those purses get to compared to purses that also have entry fees. No pre entry as we dont like to have entry fees paid and then lose an event to weather, imagine that! The ProLate Jook George is a PPMS Pro Late event, no one is sanctioning it, both FASTRAK & EDGE crates may run in it and use the tires legal in those series. Crate Motors must be Crate Motors, with no aftermarket internal parts, what comes from GM is what is legal. We probably will remove valve springs For testing on at least the $2000 winner. (that may become $3000 with a sponsor)

All competitors may email me for the purse for their respective divisions.

giving the hobbies and young guns the night off? this is oh im sorry was the only race out of the entire season that we actually got paid to race I know a couple other drivers who were also looking forward to it but I guess that would have broke the track to much to run two 8 lap features that take a total of 10-20 minuets combined I guess thats just way to much to ask.
Todd,
I am sorry. Feedback we have gotten in the past was its to much to get in, the amateur divisions can't afford these events. So we give them a night off and they want to race. You can probably find some of the complaining right here on the Racestud archives. We are going to go with it as is for 2012 and see what happens. It's actually good to hear you want to race. We wish everyone felt that way.
Great job this year, you and Logan had some fierce battles.
Time for Dad to move you on up! Looks like he has the setup worked out. Good Luck the balance of 2012.

These to teams is where you make money. They run for chips an a trophy an now the biggest race for all of them kids an older guys in hobby getting kicked to the curb cause you have to pay them 2 run them either friday of saturday have their heats on thrusday. All your doing is going to get rid of those two classesTodd,
