Word is he left after officials were sending Jared Miley to the rear for taking out Keith Barbara, when Matt Miley told them to put Jared back. Miley went to the rear and then back to his spot. What gives?

Feeling bad for Jared. He didn't ask for any of this. Heard so many things after the fact today. Unfortunately he is burdened with his last name but apart from that he is nothing like the rest of them. Matt Miley just wants to keep money in his pocket. Jared is there because he loves the sport not the money. He even helped me make a few changes for the heat today and it worked well for me.

I can't blame Greg if he did walk out. He made the call to put Jared to the rear, and then someone, assuming one of the mileys told officials that Jared was to get his sport back. Now last time I checked, once you make a decision you stick to it. If Miley had won that race you could have had an ugly situation as far as the fans. Loudest cheer of the night was when Jared wrecked. I agree I feel bad for Jared he is a good guy but his family makes him look like an @$$. Hope they learn their lesson about sprints too, 9 sprints for 3 grand to win is a joke. Also feel bad for Josh Richards. Was his race to lose until Kari Gasser took him out. After she came up 2 lands and put Richards in the wall. I guess nobody warned Josh do not try to pass her on the outside, you won't make it.

Yes this was true as confirmed to me by a direct eye witness. This is why steve baker didnt race at interstate speedway when he promoted it. If your going to own the track and race there any type of judgement call needs to be left out of the hands of the owners and made by an impartial third party which it was and then overruled because it eliminated jareds chance of winning. Matt people arent blind they see and hear what goes on. Heres a pefect example of why eldora makes money and ppms does not, last week i was up in the stands to talk to a vendor about getting my pennsylvania hole beate shirts made and i knew i needed to rush back on the quad to cross the track before the non qualifyers races started or id be stuck out there. Well i didnt make it and i was stuck out there, there gate was opeaned severl times to let packing trucks cross but not let quads in, those and the RULES and they stick to the RULES !! So while im sitting there scott bloomquist rolls up on his quad and everyone waiting thought since he was waiting we would all get in and guess what everyone was wrong !!! They made scott bloomquist sit and wait 35 or 40 minutes just like the rest of us ! Remember that when you decide to allow familty memebers to spin out top competitors penelty free. Hell if you were going to give jared his spot back you should have given keith his back too, you know just to keep the lack of rule enforcement consistant. tHE NUMBER ONE THING A RACE TRACK MUST DO TO SUCCEDE IS TREAT EVERY RACER THE EXACT SAME NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE AND EVERYONE WITH EYES CAN SEE THIS CLEARLY ISNT THE CASE AT PPMS !! Now on to the dutchess of hazard, I was scolded on here for saying what every driver in the pits already knows ... Kari Gasser is the biggest hazard to ever strap into a race car at ppms !! I have her on go pro camera and it will be uploaded to youtube for the world to see. I was about 200 ft behind her junking josh richards and its funny someone said he should have been warned not to pass her on the outside, well come look at my car and see what happens when you pass her on the inside !!! No lie she drives like shes changing the radio station , texting and doing her make up at the same time, and im pretty sure josh richards would agree, And the funny part is the 15 other drivers I talked to after the race say the same thing I have been. No one jacks their car 90 degrees 3 lanes to the right toward the wall entering turn 3.... oh wait gasser does ask richards...

in the pits we seen jared was put to the rear and it was for rough driving. then there was a very long delay under caution. we had no idea what was going on. jared suddenly drives back up to the front to get his spot back and then all of the cars were then lined up again instantly. i instantly thought somebody did their job and put jared to the rear and now the mileys are not letting that happen. I was really hoping i ws wrong thinking that way. unfortanetly it sounds like i was right. im still mad over being lied to friday night about the radar situation and now this!!!! its just very diappointing as a fan and supporter of the track. so my request to the mileys is to not play favorites and be honest with everyone about things like why we really cancelled friday. lastly rules keep changing on the fly at the track too. in the sportsman class we already ran our heats and then at the pill draw they suddenly decided to change the top 12 to the top 10 to redraw. i know #54 of wayne carbo was one of the drivers that got the shaft on that one. i felt bad for him because he stood there for nothing and raced probably thinking he had the last redraw spot while on the track. on a good note the track was very smooth and racey. and the car counts were decent in the crates, latemodels, and sportsman classes.

I sit right near the press box, and as soon as Greg made the call to put Miley to the back (the right call) Matt ran up the steps and busted into the press box. Shortly thereafter Greg walked down to Smokey to tell him to go up to the press box and take over because he had quit. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen at a racetrack! You don't second guess your race director during the race, especially when it involves a family member, regardless of if it was the right call or not. Completely unprofessional, unsportsmanlike, and unacceptable! That is an excellent way to permanently tarnish the reputation of your racetrack, and that is why family shouldn't race at their racetrack, especially when family can't separate their feelings from their business. The best part was the Karma on the strange restart after that when Miley and Satterlee tangled, and Miley's night was over and Satterlee was able to continue. The entire weekend was a cluster and it started with the bogus cancellation. Sadly the track was actually pretty good last night and the racing was entertaining, but it will be overshadowed by all of the other BS.

Favoritism takes place at every racetrack nearly every week. But I don't know that I've ever heard of such a blatant example.

I heard a track employee say that Matt told Gregg that they don't punish drivers for rough driving. Guess it all depends on who you are. I know of another driver penalized this season for rough driving for hitting someone who missed a shift or had tranny issues on a re-start. I'm guessing just like the last few races, the rules change at the discretion of the Miley's!

Wasn't there so I don't know for sure what did happen and what didn't happen, but if Matt really did what they said he did he better make it right or it's gonna cost the Mileys bigtime, and if he didn't do it he better get that straightened out so the family's and track's reputations don't get turned to shit. Ain't every day you have people on here saying a track's race director quit due to favoritism, so this is something the Mileys cannot afford to let go unanswered.

I'd say old big mouth Mileys silence on the whole 24 hrs of Imperial tells the story.
