It is typical the way things are run at PPMS. I recall a driver being spun out on the start of a race last year and when he bumped into the driver who spun him under caution he was sent to the pits. Why wasn't Barbara sent to the pits. Same old Sh-t, it all boils down to who you are! I was not there, but Jared Miley is a great driver and it is a shame his name is being tarnished. I have never seen that kid drive dirty and feel like he was done wrong. I don't agree with the decision being turned, but perhaps the first decision should have never occured. Racing is a contact sport like it or not. Rubben is racing and if you can't handle that perhaps you should take up golf!

thats funny I was thinking the same thing about the 23 years......wow how many changes were made this week in regards to the rules and such....after 23 years yours still messin with the cake mix.......I think Chuck Noll had a good saying for this ....maybe after like 10 you would move on to your lifes work......

This is 90% of the reason I have no involvement whatsoever with UFo anymore. I will have no part with a track that makes decisions based on what happens with ONE certain race team IMO.

I actually agree with the mileys that the provisional rule the way it used to be written was absolutely rediculous, and the ufo was the only group with THAT rediculous rule but you CANT change the rule during the night because it effects 1 person THAT night !! And doug is right the 16 3/4" tire rule is everywhere. Read the sign at eldora it reads " they enter as equals and the winner leaves immortal " ... The enter as equals part is possibly the most important part of running a successful race track. Jared is good enough that he doesnt need to be shown favoritism to run up front but unfortunately He is clearly shown it anyway and it does nothing but make the entire family look bad. If i was jard i would tell them to make sure EVERY judgement call at THAT race track GOES AGAINST him just to avoid any potential appearance of favoratism !! There are many reasons the 2012 pittsburgh was a joke compared to the early pittsburghers but that is at the TOP of the list !! Fans and drivers will stop coming when they see that blatant BS and they have stopped coming ... in DROVES !!

I have known Greg Wheeling to be the most straight up and stand up guy for over 15 years. With that said and knowing that he walked away from PPMS in the middle of the show tells me there was alot of back handed stuff going on. He knew Friday nights cancelation was all BS and qiute a few other things that happen the whole day Saturday. I think when Matt over road the call to move Jared back to 2nd place was the icing on the cake and he (Greg) did not want his name involved with that. Greg carries alot of credability through out our Tri State area and rightfully so. Imagine how bad it would have to have been for him to leave when he did. I am not sure but I would say that Greg has never had to walk away from a show until this one, and that is saying something!!!!!

They didn't say that they were going to procecute anyone! They just said that they have a rule in place that prohibits people that race there to bad mouth them over social media or message boards. If you do so, you won't be allowed to race there. You're not going to be sued. You're leagally entitled to your opinion, they can't sue you over it. Otherwise everyone that posts reviews for movies or resturaunts or anything would be in court every week.

Related to the topic, Jared flat out spun Barbara, and if I'm not mistaken, didn't they move Hodgkiss to the back for spinning Covert a few laps before that? And there have been plenty of "rough driving" penalties handed out at that place over the years, so the arguement that there is "no rough driving policy that's enforced" is BS.

You are right. I wouldn't want to say anything to damage their business any more than they already have themselves, so post edited without all the details. It has been proven before at other tracks, that running a race track and being highly involved with a race team racing at that track can be dangerous conflict of interest that can chase away fans and race teams. Some actions of the past predicted something like this would eventually happen IMO. It's just difficult to sit quitely and see that 4 years of building up the UFo name were apparently wasted by antics like this!

greg is a class act. he is the most fair flagman and official at any track ppms, lernerville ect. isnt that like 4 ppms employees quitting because of the mileys??
