You can get around a gear rule by going thru the trans.

  • Interests:RACING, not nascar though. But I live & breathe stock car racing. Not so much Sprints, or emods. Even though I own a 2bbl emod, I'm still not thrilled with returning to dirt, after a 15 year absence. We'll see how things go this year coming up, 2012. Maybe it'll grow on me, again.

If it all goes back to money, in an "econo- anything" Class why have berts, brinns, & stuff like that, that costs tons of money allowed. When you have engines that are worth $12,000 in a class with econo in it's name, aren't we compareing apples to oranges, or maybe we are all missing the boat. It proves itself out, that horsepower wins races, & the old saying goes "Money buys SPEED! How fast do you want to go?" I raced on the asphalt for 15 years, & bought 6 tires per year. I started racing dirt again, & bought 6 tires the first month. (And I sure as hell didn't wear any of them out, some still had the tits on them.) I know racing costs money,,,I've pissed my money away for 44 years in this business, but tires are the last thing that would stop me from racing. If I put over $12,000 in an engine, & blew it up, I'd freekin Cry, out loud, Big Tears!!! That could put me out of racing!!! I don't give a crap what rules they have. Sharon is my track now. If I can't live with the rules, I'll not race. I'm long past the point where I can't live without racing. I'll carry my fat ass up in the stands, & vent my frustration on the flagman,,,,,,,,,,,,,Just an average race fan. See you there, maybe! lol.

Thanks Mr. Big!

All those years I'da swam a river of ground glass to be racing are long gone. Now its really all for fun. And the cost is over/riding the fun factor, when you got some no drivin fool takin out a $115 dollar tire, & a brand new aero wheel every week. It's rediculous to waste money like that. I love racing, but ,,, and when you add a ,,,but, you're on your way out. Cause racin don't have no buts in it. No matter what happens you take your lumps, & keep on truckin. Ok, maybe just 1 more year,,,lol.
