The only locals I can remember ever winning at Hagerstown in a late model were Bob Wearing Sr. , Bob Wearing Jr. , Lynn Geisler, Davey Johnson, Todd Andrews, and Gregg Satterlee.

I was at the Dog for the Connor Bobik last year and at Challenger for every Christmas Tree Capital Challenge/NEWS/MACS/STARS/FallFest event there was as well as to Hagerstown pretty frequently for their early spring races and OctoberFests. I can assure you I have never seen or heard of Denny Fenton, Luke Hoffner or any of the other Hillbilly heroes before reading about them here at our illustrious board. Tell me.. Have you ever heard of Lynn Geisler, Jared Miley, Dave Hess or Keith Barbara or is the extent of your late model knowledge restricted to Semi Lates? I bet Barry Peters, Rich Curry, Gary Pease and Terry Rosenberger wish you guys were around back in the day to talk up their Late Model prowess. According to Goofy23, late model racing conversations begin and end with Cheyenne Reed.

Who wants an autograph?

Is it Rod Philips? Other than him or Hoffner I dont see anyone on that list that has won a big money race anywhere but Hummingbird.

Yes I have heard of him years ago, from looking at the point standings I'm guessing he ran there twice ..

How the hell does a couple people stopping in a few times legitimize the others on that list ???? It's a list of county fair demo derby drivers ... Nothing more nothing less
