If anyone needs a deck i suggest the legend on here. top of the line stuff. rumor is he is building one for bloomquist.
I would think he would finish the deck on he and suhoney's summer home before he took on any more big projects

I don't have a dog in this fight and way too old for Facebook, so not going to comment on such!!
However, a much more important topic is what's going to happen to the Stock Car classes at local tracks?? Outside of Lernerville the class is in trouble almost everywhere.
Car counts two weeks ago:
Pittsburgh 11
Sharon 15
Mercer 8
Raceway 7 13
Roaring Knob 15
Bedford 14
McKean County 11
America's Raceway Park 15
Motordrome 7
Lernerville (24) and Eriez (21) were the only ones to break 20 cars!! (Note: No car counts on Stateline or Marion Center as those two tracks only list the top ten finishers in their press releases.)
As I see it the biggest problem is way too many support classes!! 10-20 years ago the Stock Cars/Street Stocks were on the bottom of the totem pole at most tracks. Now all those tracks have several other classes below them such as "strictly stocks" and Mini-stocks. And at the same time guys can move up to the crate engine Late Models without too much more investment and run for bigger purses and a bunch of $1,200/$1,500 to win races in the area. Lernerville does well as they have no other support class. If you are a beginner or don't have the $$$ to run the top three classes and want to run Lernerville you have one choice, and they get 22-25 cars every week!! If I were running a track (which I would never do) I would drop a couple of classes and put all that money in the payoffs for the other classes!! I don't know what to do to turn things around for the stock car guys if the tracks don't change, but if things don't change, I see the class being history in 3-5 years. They have already been dropped at Dog Hollow and Sportsmans. It would be a shame for this to happen as the Stocks put on great racing at many area tracks. For example Saturday night at Sharon. Paul Davis won the race with ease, but there was a whale of a race for 2nd through 5th between Tim Burns, Mike Clark, Charlie Jasinski and Bryan Wagner. Hopefully things will improve car count wise all over the circuit!!
GOOD RACING!!!!
Walt

That's almost 5 "likes" an hour; definitely a success. For garnering so many "likes" and creating so much traffic on the PPMS Facebook page, I'm certain the sportsman division will be rewarded with their Hoedown Showdown this Saturday. Surely they won't deny the racers this opportunity (They're racers themselves, you know.) for coming up 40-some likes short by the arbitrarily set closing of the polls. Way to go racing community!Go "Like" that photo... it's down to 40-some likes needed!

You don't have to by a chassis to race in this division. You can build your own and still be competitive.Lernerville has S&S building cars for the divisions, and Marion Center has Dave Kline doing the same. That's probably a reason there are better counts there also, there is a local car builder for the class.
