What do you think??? Regular ppms car or an outsider will take home the big check?? I vote for a Koteles win!!! ( 3 of us helps the odds ) If a outsider does win, I pick Swartsmiller. Good luck to all.

More than happy to give the tech guys stuff to look for- I'm all ears. Open tire, open compound, spoilers okay, weight jacks all around, any non 3310 carb= 3200 lbs, 362-410 open motors weigh 3000 lbs, racing tranny okay, outside of aluminum heads, quick changes or gas shocks not sure there's a lot room to cheat here but let me know.

Just heard last night's winner at Sharon Rod Laskey is planning on making the tow down. Also Bob Sloss and Leigh Wheeler.

My opinion on this race, a top ten is going to be a very respectable finish with the cars that are supposed to show up. Making the show is going to be an accomplishment.

I agree Bob! Would love to see a B Main for this! Just wearing my racer hat here- but if you're a Sportsman within a 3-4 hour drive of PPMS why wouldn't you give this a shot? No entry fee, guaranteed to make at least $100 back to cover your fuel and admission, if you can finish top ten its $250! Every open rules option I can find in the area and its an open tire rule. Oh, and $2000 to win!

It's definitely tempting for me to come down and race but I just don't think we can make the tow or spend the money after running Friday at Lernerville. I really hope the car count is up and I'm sure the racing will be even better.

To win big the money ....

Yeah Jon but there's not that much of a gap in say Bloomquist's program to yours as you would see from a local Ohio stock car to a local PPMS one I don't think. The most pure stock guys can run in a shock is prob $125 each!

If it's the money you're worried about, skip Lernerville. This race has the potential for matching several weeks worth of payouts at Lernerville. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

In my opinion, there shouldn't be a stock at any other track within driving distance of this show. Last place pays better than 3rd at most tracks. To win would be a bigger deal than a points championship at any of our tracks. Go play with the big boys! Vince is doing a hell of a job with this. Show up and return the favor.

Thanks guys! I honestly tried to make this event for the racers and not just another special show at PPMS. Lernerville guys didn't like taking their spoilers off and buying 1600's to race there. So we added spoilers and opened up the tire rule. I picked a date Mercer isn't racing stocks. I contacted Sharon over the winter about making this a non points race and with the feedback of their drivers they agreed. I can't thank them enough for that cooperation and respect of what I'm trying to do here. The Northern guys didn't want to bolt on 200-300 lbs to race at PPMS so I developed an open rules package with Matt to create an open 362-410 class and not make cars running racing transmissions weigh 3200#. The drivers told me to pay well through the field. I think we definitely did that with an $8,000 purse with no entry fees! Lastly, I know some guys have had their problems with the Mileys over the years. I don't want to get in the middle of that. But I do ask those guys to remember I am putting this race together and have secured ALL of the sponsors. So you are supporting me and my Dad's memory, not PPMS. Giving PPMS another try definitely worked for some 28S guy last year...... don't hold it against me and this show! Vince
