Ummmm that's why hoffner quit going there too. Too much bs. Cost him a championship3 years ago eric didnt get screwed 3 years ago he lost by 9 points if I remember correctly... so if you loose by 9 points how is that being screwed?

No hoffner stopped going there cause he got some equipment tore up..... he got tired of fixing it
Every week..... thats y hoffner quit going there... had nothing to do with him not winning a championship
.... the year after he didnt win the championship he came back for 1/2 of the season and most of the time was
Involved in a lot of crashes and torn up equipment then he stopped coming....

And it was just a coincidence they just quit having the chili there too then I suppose. He was sick of their bullshit the whole way around. Equipment gets tore up no matter where you race that's part of the game

Lucky Hoffner didn't kill someone in pit area last yr he raced there. On 4 or 5 occasions he came roaring through a dark pit waaaaay to fast. Once he couldn't stop and hit his trailer. Lost all respect for him after those stunts. He's been around long enough to know better.

Another point about the bird. Pit lighting is a joke. A lot of drivers fly thru those pits. Its no wonder someone hasn't been injured yet.
