There was some confusion as to the length of Ed's suspension. Just heard it is in effect for the rest of the calendar year.

Ed Lynch Jr has been banned from The Commonwealth Clash and all other WRG events including The Word Finals.

You don't have to go to lernerville to much to realize that its ONLY their way or the highway. No matter how dumb something may sound. And it does not make any difference who you are. If you do anything that may make the "God" of dirt tracks look bad look out. They will come after you like a woman scorned. Great track usually pretty good surface but no one at least in their mind knows more about dirt track racing than them.

That's what 3799 says but nobody else has said this and nobody is going crazy probably because it's not true just like people tried to say that Tony Stewart was buying property and tracks just somebody wants to tell a good story even Ed Lynch Jr's website says he's racing tomorrow at Lernerville

Incredibly shortsighted of the WRG to ban Ed Lynch Jr., if this is true. The Lynch family has done more for Lernerville Speedway than the WRG can even dream about doing. He's clearly the fan favorite every time the circus comes to town. To suspend him is a huge slap in the face to the fans who root hard that Ed can beat the Outlaws like he did in the Silver Cup race several years ago. It sounds like it was quite the debacle at Lernerville but to make the call to suspend him is the WRG just trying to be a bully. One more thing - anyone who talks poorly about Walt Wimer shows a lack of intelligence when it comes to his contributions to the sport over the last several decades. Walt is as big of an advocate for dirt track racing in this part of the world as anyone and deserves respect for his efforts over all those years. Thinking you are being funny by calling him Walt Whiner does nothing but make you look foolish.

Ed will not be at Lernerville’s Commonwealth Clash on Saturday 21, 2013.

Due to the surprise penalty assessed by World Racing Group received this week for alleged rules violations, Ed is banned from racing with the World Racing Group through the end of the year.

Ed wishes to thank fans for their support and will prepare to see them next year.
