It was a waste of time.
They are keeping the 323 cu. in.electronic Engine in the 305 cu. in. Class.
Dropping the weight so the light weight kid from Mercer can take weight off his car the same car that has the 323 cu. in. engine that won the points last year.
Now the heavy guys will spend more money to lighten up the car.
It's too bad that Western Pa. Can't get the class right like the rest of PA.
I went to the first racesaver meeting and it sounded like a great class, leave it to a few to screw up a good idea.
I predict in it's current rule package this class will be gone next year at this time.

Yeah run Racesaver for less money and race only when and where French Grimes tells you to run. The Outlaw Sprint Warrior Class continues to grow every year and it will continue to do so next year too. How much do you want to wager on your claim it will be gone next year?

I took my son George to Mercer Raceway Park last year and it was the last nights for points. He started last (18th) with his racesaver motor and finished on the lead lap in 7th. I was told we wouldnt be competitive then went back for little guy nationals and ran 4th and 5th. didn't get the finishes but we enjoyed the racing. I myself don't have a problem with racesaver just the guy running it here in NC seem to have a problem with me. Not a French Grimes fan either but in Nc if you want to race 305 sprint cars here that's what you got to run. ASCS is coming but as far as I see no races close to Charlotte because racesaver leader pissed off most of the promoters here.

Mike i'm not sure why you have a problem with French Grimes all he's done is put a class together that gives a fair even playing field way to go race. The race saver series PASS has over 80 drivers registered that all meet the rules and can race at any racesaver event.
What do you have at Mercer and Sportsman 8 to 10 regulars? And they only can run at Mercer and Sportsman!
You really need to look long term.

Mercer has some good people and run a good show that's not the question here.
You can run the racesaver in Eastern Pa, NC, VA NJ TX...... Same rules.
With the WPA rules your at Mercer and Sportsman.
The electronic 323 cu in engine needs to go away this is a 305 class.

Technically, a racesaver sealed engine is more than welcome to run with the OSW at mercer and sportsman. It's racesaver that DOSEN'T ALLOW IT! And imho, if you actually had the money to travel like you claim you do, you wouldn't be messing around with 305 sprints.......

Woofan.... if your comments were directed to me... Racing is a money pit. we all know this... its how you PLAY the game. My money isnt your business nor anyone elses! We enjoyed coming home to race. Hell we tow all over the south and even race with the USCS 360 sprint cars with our 305 too, it makes you better to be on different types of race tracks. red dirt, brown dirt it`s just racing.
