[Stock Stroker]

Just got news today from an auto dealer, that TCS may be sold to a Mike Thomas. Anyone else hearing this news ?

It has Tri-City Speedway under "rescued companies" with 2014 as the date. That would be absolutely awesome to see Tri-City back in action!

WOW! If they buy in February, thats a lot of work to be ready by April (that is what i am hearing as a race date).

I've never been there. but I believe thats the best way to run a dirt track now-a-days. just 4-5 specials a year. look at the last few years central pa speedway was dirt. they didn't run weekly, but when they did run, the place was packed!with both racers and fans.

Its one of the nicest tracks in the area, 1/2 mile banked oval with red clay. I always enjoyed the modified 3 day special in the fall.

Only made it to Tri-City once. I thought it was a pretty nice place. Glad to hear that something is in the works.

Autumotive fest or the Stampede come close to bringing the area's best together or the Laboon race at PPMS.

would be great to at least have one big end of the year stock race up there..loved that place

Went there with a championship car and a For sale Sticker .. came back with the sticker ! But would do it again !

when is last time a race was run there ???? place probably needs shit load of work done to it. hard to imagine place would be able to open for just a few races. the money it will take to run an event. insurance. purse. etc. etc. one of those I will believe it when I see it .people saying now they will support racing there. Isnt that one of the reasons it closed lack of support ???
