well, we have raced everywhere with max, and had good and bad days against him. more bad. but i will tell you this, this kid will run with those guys. he will have similar equipment, and if his dad sets up his rocket cars, he will be good, very good. he has what many great drivers have, a smooth foot, and keeps his cars straight at all times. those attributes make an elite drivers. i look at davenport as an example. he came from crates, and crates need to be straight, smooth, and keep momentum. you learn that in crates, and he mastered it. you don't win that many races buy being lucky. he is the best around here, and to put another young talented driver in that car over max......why? and better yet, who? satterlee is good, but he has his deal, and paid for his road to success with his crew chief. you don't want some old veteran, you want a young, hungry lion, and this kid was born to do it. this is what they live for. love to see him make the naysayers eat crow. i think this is only the beginning for him, and i wish him luck. glad to see it happen for him.

Max won an amazing 26 features last year---there is a learning curve, for sure, but talent is talent and if given time in the ride he will contend eventually.

I'm sure if Bloomquist offered him a ride, he would tell him he runs rockets, instead of his cars, because it makes him more comfortable

im sure kennedy has the lute to switch.... in fact didn't fuller do decent in rockets on the woo tour too....bidwell was first to say this team is switching so take it up with him jagoff

I don't drive nearly that far for a project anyway ... But clearly I wasn't seriously saying max was pounding out his wife as he would most likely break his jaw as opposed to quitting and spending a couple hundred grand on something he was getting free ...

This Just In! Max Blair to Pilot a Rocket for John Kennedy for the 2014 Season!!!!! Turns out He Did NOT pound out Clantons Wife!!.........there...is that newsy enough for you?

on any rate, whether Clanton is in or out next year I hope the guys have a good season. I haven't ever really watched Max but I've seen enough videos. He looks like he knows his way around a Late Model, and a Dirt track. I've been a Clanton Fan since he Won the Yankee Doodle at Central Pa Speedway. The guy can wheel a car.
