gofast05,
Thanks for the input. Not taking it the wrong way at all. I am saying instead of people running there mouth's on here they should call track owners. They will listen if you call.
You might be right about opening the rules. I feel that if you open it up they will want more money thru the field. The few you gain you would lose the steel blocks to MC because they don't want to run against Supers.
I might be wrong, I Don't own a late model so I really don't have a dog in the fight plus I don't work for the speedway so It doesn't matter to me either way
A far as the micro's go it is hard for any speedway to pass on a class that will have a full field every night and willing to run at the back end of the program!

I will gladfully talk to louie about any idea I have and/or the amount of input that this site has. but ive been down that road before and basically was ignored which is fine, its not my track to run.
as far as the full field goes, and not to be rude, but ill believe it when I see it. I enjoy watching a good micro race but every night I personally think is too much.
one weekend at hummingbird, the next at AMP, the next at marion center, so on and so forth. I know that'd be hard on some of the micro guys but I don't think micros are an every night kind of class.
AMP hasn't lost any steelblocks to the supers over there. and steel blocks have won the Mick over Supers before. as stated, a steel block can make as much and more power than a super. throw in a weight restriction, and you're good to go with either or!
I think Hummingbirds best bet, is to have Micro's as a once-a-month deal. Same with Mod-lites on different nights. but open to supers weekly.
