I am glad that the track has re-opened.

I am glad that ANY track as opened or even stayed opened. But the fact of the matter is, it was unnecessary and plain ignorance (and as many said before classless) that they used his name for
the advertisement of their opening. not to mention HOW they used his name. so yes. im glad they reopened. but I for one, will not support their track because of this. I hope many others follow...
This PR guy needs fired. Then, with a public statement that, after they have fired this guy, the new PR guy will come out with a fresh opening to the track. Along with an apology to the racing community
for the Former PR man. and that he can Re-assure the Racing Community that nothing like this will happen again. further more, they hold the upmost respect for other tracks and their owners/fans/drivers
and will hold a donation night at Dog Hollow Speedway, with all proceeds going to Mr. Erickson as a sign of forgiveness for the stupidity of their former PR man.......

Just a thought. :)

be careful. someone will just say something along the lines of "good, we don't need your money" or "take your business elsewhere" not understanding the concept of not trying to drive people AWAY from the track.

and driving off fans and/or racers due to "miscommunication" or "bad judgement" is money well lost??

Yes. Your understanding of opposites is commendable.

the concept of this was a great idea, yes. But the way it came of was all wrong. Anyone can argue it and blah blah blah. But it won't change the way a lot of people read it.

You missed my point. "Good intentions" referred to being excited to reopen DHS. "Bad judgement/timing" referred to the way it was done. The concept (a boxing analogy) was not a great idea; it was the first mistake.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
