I understand what your saying and agree but at the end of the day the only person who can loose anything in this is Mr. Thomas himself, he has to dish out all the money, we as fans just choose to go watch races or not, and drivers choose to go race or not , it's just another track to choose from and i'm happy to have that option.I don't think there is anyone out there that doesn't want to see TCS reopen. However, people have a right to be skeptical. At first I thought some of these folks were being a little harsh or were overreacting to some of the things said by Thomas or members of his organization. But, it is clear that there are many aspects of this venture that don't add up. There are already far too many snake oil salesman involved in race track ownership/promoting around here. The track would be better off remaining closed rather than reopening and then closing again because someone underestimated what it took to make it a success.

Read a rumor on another board that the whole deal fell through. Not sure what to make of that although the facebook page was updated 7 hours ago.

Just a rumor. Most likely nothing more than that. It was on Bill's board which, in all fairness, isn't even a legitimate message board. I would think if it was true the web site, facebook and twitter would all be gone.

I heard it from more than one highly respected sources, and I know the "Race Director" resigned, wheres All them street people and 23WellerJr fan, he hasn't been on here at all this weekend, AND?????Just a rumor. Most likely nothing more than that. It was on Bill's board which, in all fairness, isn't even a legitimate message board. I would think if it was true the web site, facebook and twitter would all be gone.

Just an FYI, I was looking, however, My Navy career kind of takes more precedence then getting on here and arguing with folks. Getting my SCWS pin was more important then anything.

Being a 22 year Retired Marine, I understand your position, so you should be able to update us tomorrow????? And thank you for your service to our country.Just an FYI, I was looking, however, My Navy career kind of takes more precedence then getting on here and arguing with folks. Getting my SCWS pin was more important then anything.

More bad news for Mike Thomas and AMS. In the Derrick, Andy Alm and another women are suing Mike Thomas for lack of payment. Sounds like Andy Alm won't be doing any announcing for the track. Another business ran by Mike Thomas failing. Civil lawsuit filed against community website, newspaper owner

Sooooo....if he isn't paying his employees it might be fair to assume he would have a hard time paying the drivers if the track were to open.

Just also heard, Hill and Hetricks paid off the note, so no one will be reopening the place, rumor has it some kinda dirty laundry went on there a sherriff sale or a new owner
