Someone else touched on it. You have three tracks within about 75 or so miles of each other, running pretty much the same classes on the same nights. MCS, for all of it's warts, isn't going anywhere, bet that. That leaves Hummingbird and AMP fighting over the cars that are left. Taylor might be better served running Fridays, or trying Sundays. Dropping the purse is one of the first signs that he is in over his head. I would not be at all surprised if he dropped LM's, as they are demanding most of his pay out. With them go the fans, and then the inevitable. I wish him luck.

i agree with legend on this post, and most of the other posts he leaves.   you all have valid statements.  my input is that the economy is so poor entertainment is on most familys back burner.  it seems people dont have the money this year to spend.  long hard winter that lasted longer than i can remember in my 56 years on earth!  gas prices around 4 dollars.  and a president who gives us little hope for recovery. i believe the money for racing is drying up.  and too many tracks so close to each other. there seems to be a race car shortage everywhere.  tracks are trying to make cheaper racing for the racers but racers dont have money for change at this time.  example[ semi late latemodels.] super late guys cant change to cheaper motors and get in that class because that costs money. sure they would save big , but when you already have big motors that dont retail for shit these days how would you save by changing and spending more on a limited motor. sadly i must say racing is a dying sport. i wouldnt be surprised in 10 years if we end up speaking chinese, politicans are gutting the country one law at a time. poor getting poorer 1% getting richer.

We are definiatley headed for a crash! And not in a race car!  Jake...I have you by a couple years....but this the WORST Economy/Times I have ever seen!  "Brother can you spare a dime"  is definiatley the words of the moment!  No discressionary cash out there!  I think the combination of Obama Care(For those not getting it for free)  and almost $4.00 a gallon gas has done the trick.  When we hit the $4.00 mark in 08...didn't take long for the Crash!  In 2010  Gas was about $250.00 a gallon!  My business's were all thriving!  In 2012 They were doing half what they were in 2010.  In 2013 less than that!  And so far in 2014  I don't have one month of a profit at anything I do!  Fortuniatley....I have some funds put back to see me through these times!  And to make it worse...we just came through one of the worst recorded winters for this part of the country in history!  Business can't survive without customers!  But if you watch TV...they tell us how much better its getting!  I have no doubt that western Pa. is probabaly worse off than a lot of other parts of the country!  But I will really be surprised if any of these race tracks make it the entire season!  if they do...its because some one is funding them!  We just can't pay $4.00 a gallon for gas!  Bring it down to about $2.00 which would be a fair price for the times....and watch and see what happens!  All Obama has to do is say///Lets start drilling!  Just like George Bush did...and watch and see what happens!  I am not an Economist...But that would fix this country!  Why do we want to make the Middle East RICH!  So we can create another Sadam Hussein????  Lets use our own resources!   The Hell with Green and the Gay/Liberal sector!  We need to take this country back!  Drill  Drill   Drill!!  Just My .02

Actually we in the USA are producing more oil than ever before. Soon to produce more oil than anyone in the entire world. It has little or no affect on our prices though. This is due to simple supply and demand. We do not purchase our own oil because its expensive. Europe and others buy our oil. On the other hand we buy middle eastoil because it is very cheap.. drilling more won't affect us as much as you'd think.

The car's perfect Harry!.

Wing but you say pricing is based on supply and demand then you say increasing supply doesn't lower prices .... Make up your mind fella

If its your market. We do not demand our own oil. We price ourselves out. The oil we buy is oil, but not exactly the same market. If the middle east produces more prices would drop.
Easy fix is to ban speculation which accounts for 40% price of gas.

The car's perfect Harry!.
