I used to like to watch blose run years ago, but it seems like in the last 5 years or so hes turned into a complete ass.

A $3,000 to win Sunday nite race and you wonder why no "name" drivers show up. Even some of the top regional drivers would not chance trying to race with these guys.
Some of the better drivers who chose to race here in earlier events and there were some and not one made an attempt to do this race.
Now everyone should know why and if you don't then this must have been your first race.

Ring, not quite sure what your point is with your post, and I don't think many on here thought 10 or so cars were loading up at Florence and making a bee-line for AMP. To see a car like Max pull in with his Dad's knowledge of this track could have been possible.

shame i thought for sure there would have been a few more cars...the whole night just kinda stunk...track was terrible, terrible calls on track, and an hour long intermission for what?

Congrats to Waylon Wagner for persevering and a couple bumps from behind to lead all 36 laps! The announcer said 31 complete and 4 to go on the last restart. they ran two laps and then got the two to go.
It was not the best of nights. They started late due to the ambulance having to leave, which is totally understandable. Two classes and heats completed before 7:00 pm. Now taking a few minutes to do a redraw and some quick track prep (which was very dusty for the heats) is fine. The 305 sprint feature rolls out at 8:00 pm over an hour, not cool.
Sprint feature was ok not much passing but the drivers did a very good job. Late Models were on the track and ready to go before 8:30. It took over an hour to run the feature, and I must say there was some "questionable" calls made by the officials.

When I mentioned '' named '' drivers I didn't mean a Jimmy Owensl, Billy Moyer, Darell Lanigan or any other Nation Touring Series driver that anybody on here expected to see pull in after leaving the North / South 100.
I'm talking '' Regional '' drivers like Jason Covert and some other respectable drivers who follow a series like the 3StateFlyers at tracks like Bedford, Hagerstown and others.
These races pay in the order of 3 or 4 thousand to win with a few higher paying ones thrown in.
Or how about some of our '' local '' talent such as a few Lernerville regulars such a Jared Miley, Alex Feree, Keith Barbara and sometimes visitor Davey Johnson.
Jared Miley traveled to Eriez Speedway last Sunday night and it was a longer tow then it would have been towing to AMP tonight.
Yes Max and Robbie Blair could have pulled in along with some others from up that way and many others but the point I am trying to make is that no one did.
There is a reason they didn't and you don't have to be a genius to figure out why.
And to Rocket Ride. To make a statement that there were some guys there that could run with anyone is a little far fetched.
Are some of the drivers in my 1st. sentence of this reply some of the '' anyones '' that you might be refering to? If so .... I don't think so.
I am not degrading anyone, just stating fact. The racers there do the best that they can with the abilities and equipment that they have.
I won't say your '' run with anyone '' statement is is foolish like you implied mine was. I will just say your statement was made because of your total lack of knowledge of Late Model racing in general.
As usual just my opinion and I welcome criticism good or bad but I would much rather just have a debate. Thank You
Would have been kind of neat to see Gregg Satterlee drop in on his way back from Florence.
Just to give you an idea were the bar is set for the guys who were running this race. Since it is just over the hill for Gregg he was probably more then happy to run Bryan Forces car a few times at Dog Hollow. We all seen the results with his wins.
No question Gregg has really improved his racing skills.
He has won a couple WoO races . His team is really doing good in making the big races as this past weekend at the USA Nationals in Florence,KY.
He was a top 16 car out of 53. He made the A Main and started 14th, He dropped out with 10 or 12 laps to go.
He ran mid pack for most of the 100 laps;
Guess What? He got his a$$ spanked by all the '' Anyones "
Just goes to show you were the bar is set for your boys. Gregg has a ways to go to start beating the '' anyones " and the boys of AMP and DH have a ways to go to start beating Gregg.

What a fiasco that race was, every time there was a caution they put all the cars that were collected up back in their spots, what's the deal with that? I thought that when there was a caution on the speedway any car that was collected up and made contact was also sent the the tail? They just kept putting the cars back in their original spots, they did this the entire race? Piss poor officiating if you ask me.

My guess is, it was who you are, not who did it!

You seem to forget about the huge X factor here. Greg has the bank and opportunity to make late model racing his full time job. They went out and hired one of the best wrenches in the business. To your statement he has improved... ALOT!!!
Every car on that track last night are hard working men with a love for racing and doing everything they can to make there to race. As well as traveling cars that are hard working men not racing full time, may have used their budget up for the week or had issues Friday and or Saturday night. May have had family plans and have to get up early Monday morning to go make a living to support their families.
23 cars on that track is too many and they had quality cars on the track. Keep in mind several (now very good) late model drivers got there first win at this track and moved on to compete at regional and national level.

And, don't forget, this race was to honor a young warrior. That's more important than some dust or some bad officiating.
