maybe you should go on a mercer message board and ask that question.? not on a pms thread. :)

My thought on mercer is that the place eats powder coating faster than some promoters eat a large pizza. Chassis looks a year old after 1 night ... Then you have the ppms rock blast where your body looks a year old after 1 night so I guess you pick your poison lol

I would love to see Mercer Raceway Park pick up a few more nights of super late models. What's everyone's thoughts on that?

If you're thinking that they'd draw the cars that would have gone to PPMS instead, it probably wouldn't happen. There's quite a bit of distance between the two tracks.

The track that stands to benefit the most with PPMS not running super lates is Roaring Knob. It's the closest super late model track to PPMS that runs Saturday nights.

Agreed the knob is the most viable option with them running Saturdays and not being that far . There's also a 3k+ special within 2 hours of ppms every week ...

I  cant't any local tracks like sharon, the knob, mercer, ppms, ect arent running in oct. You'd think one track would pick a weekend and race and get all the cars and fans. Sucks having the car sitting here waiting for lernerville in 3 weeks to race!

Way to go Mileys on getting a sanction for the Pittsburgher.

But what is the possibly of the Red Miley race being a 50+ lap race to give the locals experience with longer lap races? Or better yet, a race earlier in the season, when the track conditions are similiar to the September race dates?

The only time you will see the conditions you will see at the Lucas race is at the Lucas race. And the only practice you can get racing against those guys is going to race against those guys . When late August rolls around those guys will have 60-70 starts and all races are extra distance against world class talent.

Will you be running at any other tracks the weekends PPMS has supers off?

Most likely several different places. I wasn't planning to run any weekly shows there anyway .

So if we've learned anything from the history of this place, pit passes should be $65 and a $50 registration fee in all classes on nights the supers aren't there. That should cover any potential lost money. Of course, you won't know that until you pull up to the pit gate.

That's cool. Getting out to different tracks with different racers and such will only make you a better driver overall

4 Super Late Models raced more than 13 PPMS point events in 2014, 3 with perfect attendance, we at Miley Motor Sports thank everyone who chose to participate...it's a lot harder than it looks!

10 Alex Ferree, Saxonburg 15
4J, John Mollick,Toronto, OH 15
99, Ben Miley, Venetia 15
75, Colton Flinner, Allison Park 14

There are 13 Late Model Shows scheduled at PPMS in 2015. We will look at rain dates for SLM specials should we lose one to weather.
