I wish Sharon would drop their intermission.
Only track I've ever left before seeing a feature. I've left twice because I couldn't handle any more intermission. I only go there now if there's no place else to go, because of the long drawn out intermission.

Strange thing is the year before when it was still FASTRAK, it was the highest weekly car count in crate late models in the entire country. They switch to the other series then don't even return a phone call?????

There was no Ebola outbreak when it was FASTRAK, either! Damn you, RUSH!! DAMN YOU!!

Not blaming anyone for that much but those are the facts. Its WAS the highest crate late model car count in the entire country weekly, but they changed and well as Paul Harvey says, you know the rest of the story LOL.

LOL How many times does a Rush & FASTRAK touring race conflict? Hardly ever, so keep looking for the reason.....Mudslinger nailed part of it. Originally the tires lasted. Now they don't. Running up the costs for racers kills car counts. If FASTRAK is so stellar, why are there so few tracks in the South where it originated associated with it now?

1- hard long lasting tire, no tire prep
2- claimer on shocks $ 150.00 or less
3- 98 octane fuel max NO CHP
4 - 602 or 604 stock only
This would be a start

Good point Street Stocker. Not gonna bash Fastrak because hell, I'm not opposed to running any sanctioned crate race but I will say I've never seen Nesmith, SECA or Rush on a message board or FB bashing, talking down, or whatever about any of the other series. Just sayin....
As far a fixing the class I don't see where it's broken. Late Models are expensive to run. A shock rule makes no sense cause you just need to carry around more of them. What is everyone supposed to do with the good shocks we already have? Why no CHP or Renegade etc? You really want to run junk pump gas? Every class I've ever raced we ran race gas. And as far as stock only motors? You can't rebuild them? It's a tired argument that blueprinting anything but a real clunker is doing much at all if anything with the newer motors. A few HP maybe.
The tire thing I can agree on as long as it's not so hard the car won't handle at all. Then we will have more crashing than we already do.
Serious tech down at the weekly level is where I see problems. That and too many people having access to rebuilding the motors without any real consequences if they cheat them. JMO for what that's worth.

The problem is the cost of racing.
CHP is a high priced eye burning throat burning expenses not needed.
The shocks, you run one set period! $150.00 claimer.
Tech the engine or just run them from the crate. I'm still not sure why you by a 602 for $3000.00 and it cost $5,500.00 to rebuild why not buy a new one?
Cut the cost of racing so more people can race.
