Just wondering if anyone heard when and where the banquet is going to be. Or if they were just going to mail the RUBBER checks.

Wife and his house for those couple nights you paid for a pit pass to race .... He shut down part way through a season because of getting hammered by financial losses and you expect him
To squeeze more blood from the rock .... Ask the ppms regulars about the big point fund checks they get .... And ppms is like the Taj Mahal compared to
Amp and it's in the middle of a highly populated area where most people have jobs . Up by amp people either cook meth or they smoke the dudes hammer
For meth who cooks it ...

The Promoter at AMP ran off owing our Class a total of $1200 - the classic 'The checks are in the mail'. I would suggest any monies, trophies, contingency's or awards that were put aside for the drivers at the end of the racing year, will be long gone as well. All up, a lot of people got screwed.
His 'poor me' tirade in AARN was completely one sided and 'the other side' wasn't given an opportunity to square the ledger.
Given the ill feeling spawned by his words and actions however, I would be surprised if you see Mr Taylor within 200 miles of this area.

Sure if you guys would like to take what he spent , minus what he brought in and divide that by everyone who raced there I'm sure he would happily do that .... The only problem is that it would still be a negative ..... And you would be " out " more than you feel your currently entitled to ....

Exactly...however doesn't matter if he made money or not, lots of tracks don't, but they still give out points money IF they are planning on trying again...which of course Mr. Taylor made it clear he is not...

Everyone should look at what they gained from Mr. Taylor! You now have a revitalized track that someone should want to takeover! Before Mr. Taylor...you have a field full of weeds! Granted...he wasn't the greatest guy in the end....but he left something behind! I would think some "want to be" promotor would jump at the chance to get in business with little expense!

No one said amp was booming. It didn't do shit. Just don't try to convince anyone that your home track is any better...... It's definitely not. The only thing ppms does that amp can't: stay running through years of piss poor management. And I don't think anyone knows how they are doing that unless Miley is pulling cash from his own pockets to open the gates.
Anyone familiar with the direction that PPMS has taken under the Miley's ownership and the ability to process rational thought knows that the program sucks, the facilities are for shit and that the competitors that still go there are generally regarded with an afterthought.

And, it will probably become a field full of weeds again...little expense? Didn't he rip the lights out of there? And who knows what else?
I do know one thing, can't run up against the Bird around here, now once again I have really nothing in this...just my opinion ((just like "most" everyone else on here actually)) but it looked to me like the cars were split down the middle, half to the Bird and half to AMP...
