Judging by the way he ran, I'd say its time to sell that Lazer and get a new Rocket already....

I'd bet he does just that. He's gone away from Rocket a few times the last few years and ended up right back in a Rocket within a month or two.

Lazers are the finest pieces every built !! Craftsmanship that makes the F35 look like it was built under an oak tree in a back yard in Compton California ..... The only reason lazers don't win every race is because they don't give them away ....... I find it incredibly hard to believe that Davey parked his rocket / club 29 to pay full price for a car with zero pedigree. I'm not saying they aren't good cars because honestly I don't know ... All I know is I've never been that impressed by how they ran

they had 2 lazer's  there, one he raced at the end of last year and a new one that they displayed at the PRI show.

he will take a rocket , but he aint buyin one.

he thinks mark richards should give him one.

Keith Barbara ran one a few years back and he had some good runs going until he broke stuff.  He was always breaking something.

I have seen a couple back marker drivers in these cars and they really looked good and they both raced at marion center and dog hollow

What in the world is a back marker driver? Care to explain your logic.

Very simple, a guy that usually runs in the back!!  Every track and every class has some!!

Prime example, John "The Legend" Hodgkiss, he's a backmarker where he rolls in.

Thanks  Walt I thought  that was a simple way to say that  some people just do not under stand. Both of these guys ran rockets before and after the switch they really improved in there racing

Well at least legend has a latemodel and tries, unlike some people that get on here with criticism, now it seems as tho there are nicknames for racers as to where in the field they run, real classy.

If there were a couple hundred of them out there racing for feedback..they would probably be upfront!  Bernheisel runs good in them!

if there are 18 rockets, 1 bernheisel, 1 home made. and maybe a masterbuilt or grt in a race,,,, the chances in that race that a rocket wins are pretty stacked up. so whats better? the chassis that has the most sales?

Jake the Problem is that even after all these years Davey is still top talent as demonstrated by his Lucas and WOO win last year and the lazer chassis isn't on that level

Johnsons may be able to buy and play with whatever they want most likely but Rockets sell because they win .. not the other way around.   It has always been that way . So until Barry Soetoro mandates buying Chevy Volt Latemodels, The one that wins the most races will sell the most cars .  Its the same in Stock cars or EMods etc. Look at how many SS Chassis there are in this Area .. and after the display that Chris Schneider put on last year ... I'm sure the line is very long indeed to buy a new SS!

Hope Davey runs some races in whatever they buy .. He started off like gangbusters last year . Good Luck!

agreed that johnson is great! and rocket chassis are by far the most popular chassis in the north. and i stand by this. other chassis are as good as rocket ,,they just dont have the driver, team, or money to make them go. rocket chassis are an excellent choice. davey lee2 stated [the one that wins the most races will sell the most cars.] so again if most of the field is rocket chassis .rocket chassis has the better chance of winning,, now somebody is thinking how did most cars become rocket chassis? thats easy. richards was smart enough to go get the biggest name drivers with the most money and experience. gave away lots of cars and deals to the big names. very smart. 10 years later here we are with rocket chassis having the most cars on the track. richards is just the better buisness man!!!
