word on the street is the 02 got one built!Express man .... Ppms has a spec engine option .... And a track surface and other advantages conducive to using one ... So what do you suggest ??? I might put a spec car together because that way I wouldn't have the skip a couple weeks of weekly shows to prepare for big races ...

Lynn Geisler has run nothing but spec at PPMS for the last decade for sure! I don't know what your opinion is...but the man is in the dirt latemodel hall of fame! So he must know something after close to 50 years going around these tracks! I know Ed was usually on a spec as well! As Was Baker! I think its absolutely worth a try! Why spend 50k on a Rousch Yates when you can't even get on the gas! And rebuilds start at $15000.00 on one of those motors! How can anyone afford that for what we race for? Engines and shocks!~ The ruination of Dirt Latemodel racing!
