This race will bring in the very best Sportsman Drivers from the area. I have been to the Ed Laboon Race and also followed the Penn Ohio series last year. I have been a race fan for more than 40 years. This is some of the best dirt track racing I have seen. If you are a fan of dirt track racing, dont miss it. PPMS this Saturday.

I agree, most promoters dont even put that much effort into their full season to promote a race for a event.

Thanks guys I really appreciate that. Have to thank the sponsors of this race, without them there wouldn't be anything to promote. Too many people to thank but everyone who has ever given me a dollar- it is appreciated and makes this race happen. And of course my Dad. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't even know what a dirt track was. Miss you big guy.

Vince has done a tremendous job with this event in honor of his father. The base Miley Motor Sports purse for a 40 car Sportsman Showdown field $5,475 has been more than doubled, with Vince adding $5,534, pushing the total purse over $11,000 for a Sporstsman race!

The place needs to install drains or do something where water does not lay all over like the pictures shows. Then they could race after one shower.

I'm not 100% sure but someone told me the drainage is there just over time it got covered up or crumpled and needs an overhaul. I remember back in the late 90s and early 00s a few nights where we all ran the track in and raced after a 2+ hour delay.

FYI, Since folks seem to care, THE DRAINS DO WORK...or we would still have Lake Llyod at PPMS after all the rain we have had! The Speedway is banked several degrees and still is a muddy messing the pic. Bottom line, it's rained way to much this year on Saturdays!...hope we get on a role with dry Saturday's!
