Thanks guys I really appreciate that. Have to thank the sponsors of this race, without them there wouldn't be anything to promote. Too many people to thank but everyone who has ever given me a dollar- it is appreciated and makes this race happen. And of course my Dad. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't even know what a dirt track was. Miss you big guy.
I'M sure your dad will have a front row seat up there for this one vince.

I've also been told a driver in the top 3 in points in the Rush Crate late model division will be behind the wheel of a Sportsman this weekend for the big show!
that be allen dellenger

That may be true, but this driver currently sits in the PPMS top 3 in points... I know that narrows it down to 3 but still trying to have some fun!

Jon it would be pretty funny if the biggest payday in your career so far would be winning the ELM in a cadet... oh the irony LOL. Good luck this weekend.

So since some guys have asked, here are the planned race procedures:
Pass tech. Please contact me if you have any questions on the rules or weight classes in advance if you have concerns!
Pill draw for qualifying order
Hot laps 6PM
Group Qualifying 4-5 car packs 6:45PM. $50 to fast qualifier.
Heat line up straight from qualifying. No inverts. 10 lap heats (I anticipate Rush Crates being the first heat races to give guys time to set up after qualifying)
if 4 heats or less, top 2 to dash. If 5 or greater, winner to dash.
Pill draw to determine line up of dash.
2 B-Mains (10 laps each)
7 lap fast dash. Straight up feature line up from finish.
Autograph Night- so I anticipate ELM will be run after autographs and be first feature.
20 lap Ed Laboon Memorial $2,017 to win. $350 bonus if won by a Rush Crate legal car.
12 lap Dob Auto NQ Race. $317 to win. $100 tow/DNS.

I hope if there is 40 cars you do 4 heats of 10 cars.

I don't know, I've always been a fan of 8-9 car heats so those guys starting in the back have a realistic shot of getting up to a top 3 to transfer. Last year I believe we had 5 heats of 8-9 cars and it was perfect. We'll see what we get this year.
