500 wins?!?!? Walt, does this make him the all time most wins driver? If not, who beats 500 wins in a career? I'd bet most guys won't have 500 races in a career let alone wins... that sounds like an awful lot to me
Bob Wearing Sr. has 626 career wins.......
Last win was at Dog Hollow Speedway in the Bob Fritz #1 and if I remember correctly Bob Wearing Jr. finished second that night in the Gill #55.

Wearing had over 600 supposedly buck Simmons had 1001 those numbers do seem hard to believe
Not hard to believe. Back in the day guys like them were racing 3-4 nights a week and sometimes more.
I don't remember the year but Bob Wearing Sr. won every single race at Lernerville in a season in the late models and add that he is the only driver to win the Hillbilly 100 four years in a row.
And I can't remember how many times he doubled up at Lernerville winning both the late model and mod features.
He didn't get the moniker "Mr Invitational" for nothing.

I don't know if anyone knows how many Blackie won, but his numbers are up there, too. Same with Lou Blaney. Freddie Smith is credited with 784 victories. That is impressive.

It was impressive that he made that work without causing a pileup.
It was good see Davis running well again like he used to when he won the track title.

How about some results? I will be going to the races tonight at Dubuque (IA) Speedway to watch Late Models, E-mods, Sport Mods, and Street Stocks. At least the top 5 from last night?
