1000 wins is 20 wins a year for 50 years , Simmons didn't win more than a couple a year his last 15 years and I don't even think he raced 50 years

A lot of win totals are totally overblown. There's a dude in New Jersey named Fred Vorhees that's been doing legit win totals on various modified and sprint car drivers from out that way, and most of the win totals he comes up with are quite a bit ess than what is claimed by drivers and fans.

don't forget about Dick Trickle, he was supposed to have over 1200 feature wins!! And Brett Hearn is over 880 and still winning weekly!!

42 wins a year for 20 straight years .... Maybe bayko can answer how many 40+ win seasons has Hearn had the last 10 years ?

He sent me his sheet of Fred Rahmer's wins but I can't seem to find it. Very impressive and all-inclusive. I believe he was only 1 or 2 off of proving how many Fast Freddie's family claimed him to have. Don't quote me on that.

Brett has only gone over 40 in a year just once, in 2002. He's gone over 30 in a year a whole bunch of times, though.

John Snyder, who writes for AARN does Brett Hearn's PR and keeps a running tally on Hearn's wins.  I am pretty sure he could he could provide a list if need be!!   In his hey-day Dick Trickle raced 5-7 times a week on the Wisconsin short tracks.  Back in the early 1950s drivers such as Mike Klapak, Dick Linder, Mike Little and Dick Bailey ran about 6-7 times a week.  In 1952 Linder started 152 races and won 51 of them!!  That is straight out of the NASCAR record book!!  It was a different world back then!!!  Herb Scott, Bob Wearing, Lou Blaney, Ralph Quartetrson and Blackie Watt raced a lot more season after season than today's top drivers do!!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

You also have to figure Hearn has been winning since the late 70s-early 80s so it's closer to 35-40 years of winning regularly

Brett's first win came in 1978, and he's been winning regularly since, even when he was down south chasing NASCRAP dreams (back then just about all the SDS races were midweek races, so he could run them and still run the Busch stuff).
