I actually have pictures of that 1997 brawl. It was after a heat race if I'm not mistaken. I'll post later if I have time.

this is Stacie, i don't think it was during the heats but i could be wrong. i wasn't strapped into my car yet, which makes me think it was during the feature .

the one in 88 was a good one also, i think it was right at the end of the points season and curry was leading the points, a guy named Wayne Stasko planted Curry and cost him the points title if i'm not mistaken. i was only 14 at the time lol

So Larry was just serving up some "street justice". You can't blame him for being pissed if his car got tore up because of someone's laziness ..... But I see the management didn't learn from it , still doing it all these years later ...

yeah he was chuck, he got a fireman , smokey, and i think one of his sons. plus some nut ran down on the track from the stands, think it was Steigerwalds brother, tryin to get at Larry before it was broken up.

it was free entertainment at it's best!

Someone at ppms(Matt) thinks controversy sells tickets....... But the only problem with that theory is ....... He isn't a "Rock Star" ,He is not "Famous" and no one really cares about him enough to go see how he's gonna stick it too people next week. That is just plain stupid if he thought that even for a second

When Ben gets caught up in one of the "mistakes" , I bet the water truck will be moving after that ....... And it'll happen sooner than later

I was at a race a yr or two ago and ben stopped on the front stretch and made them water the track. and then he got his spot back for bringing out the caution because he couldn't see LOL.

There are some pics posted on the Facebook page, they started watering the track already and it looks pretty good. Track prep should always be a week long task. That's encouraging for Saturday.

I hear if you bring a case of bottled water you can get a seat with new wood under your butt, only for a regular show, the pittsburger will cost you much more.

It's supposed to get humid this weekend, that will help keep moisture in the track too.

Gotta love when Monster Matt does 90 mph around the track in the pace truck. He fly's!

i watched the entire thing from the line-up area , it was rather entertaining and it was due to poor track conditions.   ole Larry was swingin at anybody that got in his range!

in 1997 i watched Matt Sherlock beat the shit out of Richy Curry on the front stretch, from the line-up area also. i remember Sherlock running down the track at Curry who was stuck in the Ute tires, as Matt was coming over the car, Curry threw his helmet at him then fell into a fetal position and got his ass stomped , that one was also entertaining

Good, Curry needed his ass kicked.

With 90% humidity it does. It's common sense. Moist air = more moisture that stay in the track. Track prep 101.
