It's simple.
Tracks close when racers quit showing up and for no other reason.

Not according to the promoter, its the fans and racestud who close them down.

Respectfully, I must ask, Did that come out wrong?
Tracks close for "no other reason?"
Cause and effect, why do racers, fans and volunteers quit showing up?

Racers and fans don"t show because the promoter got GREEDY and forgot how to treat the racers and fans. I"ve been around long enough to see this happen more the once. The last time i was at PPMS i asked some race fans what would you do to improve the place. New stands better track surface more detail to safety for the drivers. Some said a complete over haul. Two said the owner should sell to someone who cares. Those two also said they won"t be back.

Unfortunately, I believe so, as well, it is time. a race supporter, a condo builder, just put us out of our misery. I would hate to see it go, but at least it would be merciful!

So here is what I would to make this the one to remember:
>Every non super late driver that shows up for all 3 days of the Pittsburgher gets a free pit admission for the event.
>Put a real party together, like Russ King's pit party @ steel city stampede last fall, that's how to do it!
Big fire (HELLO JABO?),loud music, racers hanging out, together.
>Get rid of the ridiculous camping fee. Fill that fugin lot with campers (and fans)!
Every car comes with a minimum of 1 crew guy/pit fan and as many as 5-7+, and 4-10 personal fans/family.
More cars, more crew/fans....fans and crew eat for 3 nights... mo money for MIley and BIggest event ever.
Little guy leaves with a sense that they are appreciated, call it racer appreciation,or sorrry we have been azzholes for so long, lets fix this and move on!
If this makes good sense Like It>>>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->>
Thats it,? Come on man!

the pit admission thing is a cool idea also, don't know if it would ever happen or not. You also have to look at the stampede, it's kind of the same format being captured for three days.
Forgot to add I would "like" your post but it won't let me on my phone lol

So I'll say it again one last time for you guys: I'm simply reading what this very board said in 2013. I don't live in NF, I'm not a Miley and I don't camp out anymore. So therefore I have no idea what the true reason is nor do I care as I live 30 minutes away.
Posted by whom?
Would you provide a link to it?
I still say SHOW ME THE ORIDINANCE

I saw there was a handful of campers last night up there. Where they charge $50 to camp?
So how does camping go from $25 from the NDRL event if it is a township ordnance?
http://blog.mwtrackc...p-next-at-ppms/
Then in 2009 is was $50.
http://www.ohiovalle...MS-1-Month-Away!
Now its is 50$ pre register or $75 on the day of?
