How about the crate and sportsman guy's that have to tow 2 days. Fuel costs and many other various costs need to be factored in also. For that reason alone, it doesn't make any sense to show up. You could go run a Friday/Saturday deal and come out way ahead. The points chasers will be there that's probably about it and even if they WIN I really don't think your going to break even cost wise. Can you say MONEY GRAB. A shame, team owners get held hostage all the time and people wonder why car counts are down.

So its FREE camping any weekend out there except the PITTSBURGHER?? Their have been campers out there every time I have gone, are they paying $50? Matt even advertises it as FREE camping for those events.

I've looked it up before for my own information but did not post reference to it here.
I think I remember the amount of entertainment tax being linked to weather or not an alcohol permit is in place. What I remember is the tax is reduce if there is an alcohol permit. Search on pittsburgh taxes and alegheny county taxes and I think it will lead you to the info.
Got to go but I googled and found the following, I think it will get you started if you want to find out more:
I'm going to guess with the alcohol permit, it's not much.
Mat's entitled to charge what ever he wants to watch and race at his track. About all you'll get from the research is to find out how much of what is charged goes to entertainment tax. I did do the calculations and my remembering is It ain't that much.
It doesn't change the fact that he can charge what ever he feels necessary to make profit. I think he's trying hard to put on a decient show at the track. How much he want's to spend on the show to make him satisfied with a crowd, is totally his business. Ask him how much money he wants to make, maybe he'll tell us. ...

Lucas Oil North South 100 @ Florence Speedway - $50,000 win - $75 for 3 day pit pass
Got to see 70 cars with 12 heat races, 2 B-Mains, 2 Dashes and the feature
Lucas Oil Pittsburgher 100 @ PPMS - $20,00 to win - $75 for 2 day pit pass
Will never see 70 cars and will only be 4 heat races, 2 B-Mains and the feature
What was a better value for my $75?

Guzzo, I'd personally rather see a $50K to win show with 70 cars for the same money myself, but you are not posting the right prices above. If you're going to post stuff like this at least be honest and accurate.
North South 100 was a 2 day show, and Thursday was hotlaps. If you wanted to go Thursday, it was $15, so your 3 day show was actually $90. They also had UMP mods as part of the programs. Stands were $55.
Pgh 100 is also a 2 day show at $75 and $50 for stands. They are also having Rush lates and Sportsman. So if you want to figure that into the racing you'll see you can. But yes the top purse is $30K less for the same pit fees on a TWO day show. So I agree with you there.

Racer17l, your beating a dead horse! Just stick to promoting your race and that's it. Your gonna be like the mileys and get beaten down real bad if you keep sucking up.
