kind of like L'Ville,  advertise a three day pass for the Firecracker for $69 then add a $5  "service charge" at the ticket window.  Cost of printing the ticket i guess.  Could not get anyone there to tell me what the charge was for or why they didn't just advertise the right cost!!

Checks paid for purse $100 dollars LESS than advertised .... I was wondering if anyone else feels like they got the "shaft from THE MONSTER..... 105 for pit pass , 250 for fuel , plus 105 for each pit guy ...... If you wanted F&cked , you coulda bought a Hooker for way,way less

maybe thats the check from Thursday and you didnt get the one from Saturday yet?

I'm pretty sure that if it was for Thursday it would be dated the 27th , not the 29th and wouldn't say LOLMS on it .... Lucas oil late model series .

I think the best bet here would be to go straight to Matt or the office and discuss it, putting it on here isnt going to solve very much at all.

Thursday show had nothing to do with the Lucas oil folks. My question is, Why would the crate guys get a check from lucas oil ? When this pay out was first advertised some folks made the comment ppms was working on it.

Part 2... I had mentioned in another post when everyone was asking why do we have to be there for 2 days. They could have run the crates one night and then the sportsman guy's another. Unless your flat out dumb, promotors have been pulling this crap for years. If guys in the crates and sportsman couldn't figure out that unless YOU WON it was a loss across the board then your not to brite. You got hosed, don't blame anyone but yourself because you where getting screwed from the very beginning.

Not one time did I EVER claim to MAKE any money from racing ..... My POINT was WHY SHOULD WE NOT GET PAID THE 100 dollars as ADVERTISED. So , unless you aren't very BRITE ...(bright) that means IT COST 100 dollars MORE to go race your car there.....

Jo73, if you worked for a week & then the Managment of the company you work for decided NOT to pay you ...... How much did it cost you ??? Just what you spent to go to the job for 5 days ... Gas & lunch OR did it cost you what you were told you would be paid for that week ? (Your Paycheck ). You can think about this for a bit , before you answer ...... Ill check this tommarow , so you have time to think about it

This one won't take long. Your talking 2 totally different scenarios. Racing is a hobby. A lot of folks made comments about the pit gate costs, travel costs, etc. etc. where posted. It was clear, it was a printed copy for all to see. It became obvious that the crate and sportsman guy's that did show up where doing nothing more than losing money. There was 2 guys that made a little money. The crate and sportsman winner. Someone is know saying, 1 person I mite add, they got cheated out of 100.00. I will mention this. Go back and look at the posted payout, it does say something about a 32 car field. So tell me, If you believe this was not a back gate hose job ? Whom is to blame ? If you couldn't figure it out, I think we all no.

One person got cheated ??? I didn't say that ..... I SAID EVERY CRATE CAR GOT PAID 100 DOLLARS LESS THEN WAS POSTED ON THE "PRINTED " PAYOUT SHEET . I was speaking on behalf of everyone involved , but since no one else responded ..... I'm done with this topic. All of you Crate Guys can go back to PPMS this week and pretend that it's all good

If all drivers were shorted $100 then I would hope they all agree with Chuck and stay home this weekend and in the future.  if this happened to all of the drivers who supported the Pittsburgher then it is definitely a very poor decision by the management!

Chuck...I got an email from Matt that said that was "his mistake". And that he apologized for not making it clear that there was an entry fee. Even though nothing said anything about an entry fee...ANYWHERE. I figured the additional money for the purse came from the "Approved Toilet Rental" sponsorship for the race. Obviously nobody is in this racing weekly to MAKE any money...but this was a complete hose job. The race was advertised as $200 for 20th place. Why not call it what it is...a $100 for 20th.
