Flash I always respect your posts, you are one of the few on here who has some common sense. However on this, the point is that by showing up with your car that you don't have any issues with what took place here. Yes I understand guys want to race, I get that. But the problem is when you show up that just tells the promoter hey these guys have no problems with what happened and will continue to show up to race. This kind of mentality has been going for years and is the reason why things get out of hand if they aren't already there. That would be like if you sold me something for 200 dollars, I got the product then only gave you 100 dollar and you were shorted. I am sure that would not make you feel happy.

I'm sure all the guys who showed up tonight DO have issues with what happened. I have issues with what happened. However, it's not about integrity or pride or anything else you want to make it out to be. It's about guys getting screwed doing some they love to do as a hobby. They're racers who want to race, no more, no less. If I boycotted every track where there promoter has done something I disagreed with, I'd be sitting home instead of going to the races. I am dead set against Sportsman cars being mandated to run crate motors, but if that happens, I'm not going to quit going to Lernerville. I have no problem with anyone who didn't show up tonight or won't show up the rest of the year if the track doesn't correct the situation. But I don't favor a mob mentality in solving the problem. Everyone should be able to make his or her own decision in this matter without recriminations.

Flash i don"t know you personally but you do put some good stuff on here! And i can respect how you feel. With that being said it has nothing to do about a mob mentality. What happened was wrong and the only way and he will not correct it. The racers who did not show are trying to send a message to the owner, and yes they are racers just like you who love what they do, and i will support them. I do not want to see PPMS fail but I don"t want to see the drivers getting screwed. Im not a driver or a car owner any more but as a fan i don"t like how you are being treated. Agree or disagree you have to start somewhere this has gone on to far. I can"t speak for everyone but im getting tired of Matts way of doing things.

I am sure that a couple guys that did show up have that checkered flag fever. 3 cars or 24 cars. I won a feature. Some may not have been there for the pittsburger and have no issue in this fight. Those that did get screwed last week should have parked them. I understand the kids wanting to ride there bikes, I think it would have sent a stronger message by letting the kids race there bikes then get a good seat in the stands.
I don't understand 1 point. The management family consists of 3 brother's correct ? Why is it that they cannot see what's going on ? The pink panther started out in cars built in house. I wonder what he would have done if he got shorted a 100 dollars from motordrome on a Sunday night. How many racers has Brougher's machine shop built motors for in the past and present.
The only point I am making is. These brother's have been there. They understand the struggles some teams go threw to show up every week. Yet there like a race horse with blinders on. The other brother has said he doesn't care. He'll just go on the road with jared. In management, you just don't say. I DON'T CARE !!!
STILL HAVE NOT SEEN ANYWHERE. DID THE SPORTSMAN GUY'S GET SCREWED ALSO ?

Old man d, I agree with most everything you said and certainly don't want to see drivers getting screwed, but my point about the mob mentality is aptly illustrated by the post above mine. The guys who raced last night are mostly one-track racers, they don't CHOOSE to go to other tracks very often, and live pretty far away from other tracks. It says absolutely nothing about these guys except they love to race. Period. Some of you guys keep wanting to make it more than that. Good luck.

These were the cars that showed up according to flash49 aka the scabs as the legend would call them. Who would have thought that the legends topics of unions would come in handy on racestud one day.

I have no stake in crate cars, but I will give my 2cents worth.
This supporting class ( which is usually the main class on some nights ) pays the back gate fee for a major event, which they really arent involved with. They then in turn get shorted $100 in their pay off? Doesnt seem right to me. The big part of the deal is that when these big races come the track makes these races for the supporting classes point races. That ensures the back gate gets paid and they make money.
I think this class deserves the posted pay off that was advertised. Because Matt, they helped make the Pittsburgher one of the best ever, by paying the inflated pit fee.

Chuck, I'll explain this one more time, I have no problem with all of you who didn't bring your cars to the track last night, I may have done the same thing had I been a car owner. The "mob mentality" is the attitude that condemns the ones who chose to show up and race. No one disputes that you guys got screwed, and that management should take care of the problem.

Hey hats off the guys who had the brass to park their cars and stand up for what they feel is right. I am sure they like to race just as much as the 6 who showed up to race last night. The only difference is they feel strongly enough about what happened to stand up for what they believe in and I am sure they made some new fans in the process.

Everyone says "just go somewhere else and race". Where would you like us to go? Roaring knob is the only other track in a 2hr radius that races crates on a Saturday night. So what do you do? Drive 3 minutes to eat McDonalds, or 2hrs to have Burger King? I personally cannot afford to tow 4hrs round trip to "race somewhere else". I went to the races last night because A.) I promised my kids all year that they could come out to the Bike Races. B.) One of my main sponsors also sponsors the track, and expects us to be there every week. So there you go Chrome...you won't be able to run your mouth about me anymore this year. Because I won't be there. Sorry.

Trust me Justin, I am not making light of your situation. It just sucks that last week they screwed you out of 100. Now this week, according to what you posted, they sent you out to run in the soupy track conditions which it caused you to wreck. That is just adding insult to injury after last week.
