There are a variety of people that will want to "bump" the 22 car...the problem with NASCAR is they won't listen to the fans, if they did they would realize that the fans hate "The Chase."

The next restart he attempted to slide up the track to get out of the way again and the 6 car was there.
I personally do not have a favorite driver in any type of racing. I just like to see a good race. If the leader runs away, I don't care, there is a good battle going on somewhere in the pack.
Dale Earnhardt which everyone loved, yes I enjoyed watching him beat and bang with anyone that was around him.
The ONE place you didn't want to be in with Big E. in second was FIRST place. I wonder how many he has won following that scenario ? I no of 3 that were on live TV.
With today's social media, I wonder how he would have been seen ?

I recently read a decent article about NASCAR in general, they spoke of Dale Sr. quite a bit, and if everyone remembers correctly, Dale Sr. did a LOT of bumping and banging and taking people out that were in his way...guess who the fans loved? Dale Sr., and NASCAR never said much of anything to him, so do we want NASCAR controlling everything that happens on the track? Or let the drivers race?
What hit the nail on the head with Harvick was the conversation between he and his spotter and his crew chief, I believe it was the spotter that said something to the effect of the only thing you can hope for is a yellow flag to keep you where you are, and guess what it happened....I watched the video several times and I'm still on the fence about it.

Last time I read any rules blocking was allowed, and if the car behind is faster than you, and you have to win, guess what you block, Dale Jr. is pretty much a master at it, nothing is ever said about that...Logano more or less knocked Kenseth out of the chase, and remember Logano was already in, and he intentionally took Kenseth out at Kansas...then the next week Logano brake checked Kenseth at least twice...then today there was the entire mess with the 2 car, put yourself in Kenseth's shoes I'm sure that you would have felt the same way that he was being pushed around by the Penske cars...Logano has made a lot of enemies because of his smart alec attitude, and the crap he pulls on the track.
We all know that Kenseth is going to get a fine out of this, but I guess it was OK what Harvick did last week, pretty intentional that he ran into Bayne to try and keep himself in the chase...but that's OK I guess, but leave Logano alone...Logano is not well liked, the fans proved that when they basically gave a standing ovation to Kenseth when he got out of the car.

Skull has it this one on the head. I cant see why everyone is so upset about what happened at kansas. Im here to tell ya, if Im being blocked multiple times on the racetrack lap after lap eventually the guys getting turned. I may drop a block or two but I certainly am well aware that if I do it one to many times and get turned it is my own fault for blocking instead of racing. Forget the names on the side of the cars. Blocking is a good way to get spun. If it was earnhardt junior everyone would be saying kenseth blocked one to many times. Bottom line, Logano like it or not was faster. Kenseth new it, was desperate and threw one too many blocks. Hell of a site different from what happened yesterday. And I am not a fan of logano whatsoever but as a racer you can kinda see why the spin at Kansas happened in the first place. If kenseth's car is 2 tenths faster this is not an issue. You make your breaks.

Not saying you are wrong or that Logano didn't have the right to move him at Kansas...you are allowed to block, and you are allowed to let people know that you want around them...but Logano has made a lot of enemies, if you remember correctly Kenseth even said after Kansas that he was one of the few drivers that still had respect for Logano...I believe the main reason people are upset about Kansas is that Logano was already in the chase, Kenseth needed to get in...so it's a fine line, do you respect the fact that you don't need to win, or do you take a competitor out so he's not in?

Dale "EarnHard Sr." did it all the time. He said "that's just racing".. And the officials did nothing.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Nascar is on a fine line I think we can all agree on that. This situation is going to escalate if he is not parked. Nothing against Dale Earnhardt of course he is one of the greatest but nascar was not as mainstream and not as popular when he was dumping guys regularly. Not sure if this can fly in todays society. But, i have been watching like a hawk. Maybe it is good. Dont know. I think we can all agree lets get back to some good hard racing. Leave the shenanigans for the pits.

My guess is NASCAR will come down pretty hard on Kenseth...keep in mind nothing was done to Harvick last week, when it was pretty obvious that he caused an incident ((and took out a lot more cars)) to keep himself in the chase...nothing was done.
