CJB Motorsports and Paul McMahon are done after the World Finals. The CJB team will still have two cars - one with Sammy Swindell and Paul's former ride.

The Motter team says if it can't find sponsorship for next year they will close up shop, leaving Saldana ride potentially hunting.

Pretty shocking for two of the biggest names on the tour.

That would be really interesting, because Paul and Joey are really good friends off the track.

I can appreciate people having high standards for themselves, but I don't know who CJB think they can get that can do better than Paul. Realistically you are fighting for 3rd or 4th in points behind Donny, Pittman and Shane Stewart.

Here's an interest interview with Barry Jackson...says new driver announced shortly and its between two people. My guess is either Stevie Smith (don't know if he'd want to run that much though) or Cody Darrah. http://www.pennlive....kson_not_s.html

OK, now its up to date, McMahon and Dave Gravel are switching rides!! McMahon to the # 7 and Gravel to the #51 (Which will be # 5 in 16)

Did read where Joey is going, just forget!!  Just remembered, Saldana will be in the 83 for Roth in 2016..

Well the 71M has closed up shop before. They just recently got back in. There is far less driver crew chief combo's that excel on a constant basis than in any other form of dirt track racing. That and outlaw sprint car counts have been down this past year. Places like Knoxville and all of eastern pa. are hotbeds for winged cars and usac is in there own league also. Tony's Allstars I think are on the right track. This coming year will show more. Those area's just mentioned. Guys do not travel much. Guys from the grove, lincoln, port royal, knoxville. Those point deals keep those guys close.

Student. You have me asking, why ? Deleted.

Outlaw counts are not down ?
Guys from the speedway's I mentioned. Very few of them miss a points paying night.

So. I'm just curious what your take is on it ?

If you believe WoO sprint car racing is not hurting both car count and sponsor wise. There is less teams traveling. Woo Sammy back on the schedule, Sammy like many others have slowed down. Why ? Nobody has the answer for that. If they did Wolfgang, Shuman, and Kinser would still be touring.

Again, any of those tracks mentioned. Donnie S. Can go into any one of them and if he's not on his A game he is going to be in for a race.

Anyone no where Donnie S. crew chief started out ?

Anyone no where Donnie S. crew chief started out ?

Ricky Warner, a native of Carlisle, Penn., is the crew chief for the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) No. 15. The 2015 season will be the 10th year Warner and Donny Schatz have worked together. Six WoO championships and eight Knoxville Nationals highlight their accomplishments since first working together in August 2005. Warner was hired by TSR in June 2007 and was a big reason why Schatz agreed to become driver of the second TSR WoO entry. The combination has gone onto win four more WoO titles (2008, 2009, 2012 and 2014) and six more Knoxville Nationals (2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014).

Warner began in sprint car racing in the mid 1990’s with the late Kevin Gobrecht competing in the tough Central Pennsylvania circuit. He spent several years on the Outlaw Tour with Tyler Walker and later worked with Jac Haudenschild and Andy Hillenburg.

After spending three years working in NASCAR for Evernham Racing, Warner returned to the sprint car ranks in August of 2005 when he joined Donny Schatz Motorsports. The combination of Schatz and Warner proved to be stout as the duo won a number of races to close the 2005 season, the Knoxville Nationals in 2006 and the WoO championship in 2006.

Warner lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife Danelle, their son Drew, and daughter Stevie.

Donnie is one hell of a wheelman. B main. I doubt.BUT, I wonder where Schatz would be without Ricky turnING the wrenches.

D1rt. Great job. Ricky Warner and Kevin Gobrect go back to there days in micro's. Kevin was unbeatable then, everyone said he was cheating big time.

Kevin and Ricky where fast. From the Zemco #1 car to ??? they would have been unstopable. The professor ( Karl Kinser ) was going to have competition.

In life no one ever no's what lyes around the next corner. Back in the 90's Kevin and I spent an afternoon discussing posibilities at the holiday Inn in indiana, pa

The kid was good. Ricky Warner was good. Together, shame we will never no.

Doug Wolfgang, Rick Ferkel and Brad Doty and yes "might have been" Tyler Walker are some of the best there was/is. Schatz has more than these guys ever had, and yes hes good but there is no comparison to the above mentioned. In my opinion.

It's simple why I write and delete stuff on here.  I like to write especially with my morning coffee and find interesting things to comment on.  But, then I think of all the abuse comments I see on here, have my fun writing and just get rid of what I wrote.  And unless someone copies this and re-posts it, I'll probably get rid of this too.
