94.3...........just got an e-mail that the tires have changed to a new hoosier crate "25" tire.........read the announcement on the rush site under "rules"

Trying to figure out how there's more money in that move............supposed to be a more "durable" compound and be comparable t0 the 1325

They won't go on 55's because the guys with money will cry hard tires aren't safe .... Never mind that Pittsburgh supers have been on 55's since 1995

Ill take 55's all around........the Friday night track I go to eats 3.. "21's" in a 25 lap race.........they aren't putting any surface on the gravel and it's bad......

talking to some guys and they aren't going back .......they say they need to be on soft tires to compete and it cost to much to race there....

then I guess you didn't see the rush races then. 3 and 4wide for the lead, passing anywhere you want.as for the engines you complain about, I've hurt one motor in 7 years racing. and that was because we hit a car in front of us, and broke the radiator. they are made to turn 5900 rpm's, and we run them 7000 chip every night. until you have done it night in and out, keep your mouth shut.... you know nothing really......

3 wide, 4 wide racing, who gives a shit? Answer, no one. I have yet to hear about one regional stand alone crate show of any kind. Why is that, Scott? I'll tell you why, because there isn't a promoter dumb enough to even try it. Emig is selling a back gate package for weekly racing and specials. All she is doing is profiteering off of support divisions. I'm glad it works for you, but your a fool if you think any more than ten percent of the front gate are there to see any crate class. By the why, save your whining for another forum when she gets greedier and starts implementing other brand only rules to line her pickets, because it's coming, trust me.

Skull, they ( rush ) are making every attempt they can to be the dominate rule makers in the western pa area. They are spreading into new York and ohio. They are like a cancer. The back door deals between rush and speedway promotors must be very inviting. Just look at the tracks opening there gates for them. I think everyone should remember 1 thing. They cannot survive on a stand alone show of there own. For what I have seen they are always paired with a combination of other classes. I wonder what would happen if chevy pulled the plug or if the foundry or motor plants went on strike ? Crate racing is for late models. It's a good class with good racing. Stay out of all the other classes. JMO

first off skull, you always go to this stand alone bullchit. where did any of that come from? the racing is what it is, and when you here dow and other's saying how great the racing is, that is all that matters. don't give a chit about 3 and 4 wide racing, then why you a race fan?  real race fan's can only hope for it, but rarely happens. oh well, we got all the racetracks we could ever need, and growing, while you live in you shrinking little world of your big three.  yes, i like them too, but not enough of your fan's are showing up to pay for them. oh well, don't miss arguing with you. your still the same pigheaded, non 3 or 4 wide race fan you have always been. must be a miserable bastard to sit by at any track.......merry christmas......
