Greaseball...."clay is coming!"  Unfortunately that's not an update, that's the same thing that was said last year.

From what I heard, he can't afford to have any clay trucked in... So he's stripping the infield for clay.

anyone can spread rumors, how about citing your sources.... gossip, hearsay, horseshit...   i honestly have no idea whats going on there, JUST LIKE MOST EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM, but one thing i don't do is repeat what my cousins- girlfriends- dads farther in law, who live 6 miles from the track said

i suppose some people just like to stir shit, and that's what this forum is all about anyways right?

It's the mall that charges, not the folks putting on the show. Been that way for years now. They have more empty stores than full ones, so the only thing that makes sense is to charge the cars that are the only reason anyone will even go to the mall that week.

Here's an idea.  Go to the show and count yourself.  I suggest wearing flip flops in case it turns out to be more than 10.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I have moved mother earth for close to 30 years. I have mentioned on here that putting clay down in the spring just is not going to work. VARIOUS REASONS. I just cannot understand why someone would ignore LOGIC and just toss any reasonable information gathered. I don't have any idea how much there putting down so I Guess someone has all the answers.

Soil on top of soil is like a sheet over your mattress. It moves. Let me put it this way. Farmers, do you see them turning there soil many times a year. #1 it is done for many reasons. Some turn the soil in the fall and it stays that way till spring planting. If new soil is placed on top and not amended with the soil below you have nothing more than 2 layers. Winter freeze is what amends soil. Go make a mud pie and place it on top of the ground. It will be gone. 12" of new clay not amended with at least 12 to 16" of current soil is not going to last very long.
