As many of you know about this "new" fuel and being FORCED to use it . I received an E-Mail from rush racing series about their "AUTHORIZED DEALERS" .... Is this a joke ? Not only do they force you to use a specific brand of fuel , but also who you must buy it from .... I have been selling VP fuel for a while now & I was trying to get set up to sell Sunoco also , including this new "Rush 91 & 110 " then this e mail come about & the "list" of dealers , lol . I thought we lived in America ? If I can get this "product" from the manufacture , why can't I sell it ???? I don't know how much it cost to be on their list but somthing don't seem right ...... On a side note to people still needing VP , I will still provide you with the same service as years past , prices far below the numbers that were used to get people to beleive this Sunoco/ Rush deal

Sounds like there are a few more hands in the Rush pot than everyone thinks.  I'm glad Rush Sanctions haven't hit my local tracks...yet.  That's ridiculous.  And possibly illegal?  I mean if the government can get involved in a case between the NFL and a player, then why can't it intervene here?  I don't have a law degree so I don't know for sure.

As if it wasn't bad enough to make people use a certain fuel ..... Then dictate who can sell it . Lol , definitely not worth the headache for a few pennys profit . Not sure what these "dealers" pay to do Buissness , but I will say this : PRECISE IN SARVER , pa has the 91 for 225 and the 110 for 425 a drum ...... I hope they sell a million gallons and the people got on the wagon have to sell it for less than they paid for it .

Is this much different from "authorized rebuilders" of the engines?  I don't follow it closely, but isn't there a procedure to become one?  Perhaps that's the case with fuel, perhaps not.

Down my way, at Delaware International, if I remember correctly, the crate late models, which are 602 only, have to buy engines and fuel from the track, have rebuilding done through the track, and buy stamped tires.  Same goes for the crate modifieds.  (Both classes also have a shock rule that allows only 3 different shocks to be used - dealer is recommended, but not mandated.)  It seems that the intent is to better police the class by limiting the number of hands in the pot.

Certified engine builders are not the same as certified fuel dealers. You do not have to purchase an engine from a certified builder. You can buy one anywhere. If they told you that you could only buy crate engines from Sweeney or pace it would be the same.

I think you can buy the 110 from whoever you want. It's sold all over the country. It's not RUSH specific.  The 91 is probably a different story.  The email was to help people find a local supplier I believe.

Lm 63 ...... You better read that email again ..... They made a "special 110" just for Rush. So , therefore you must buy both from them & as a added kick in the dik..... You can't mix the two with each other or anything else !😂😂😂

Sadly, but likely, you will be discriminated against, more, for discussing this via social media. Is spec air in the wind next????

I read the rule as you can't mix Sunoco with any other kind of fuel.......not that you can't mix it with each other.....I'm going to mix 91 and 110........don't care what they say.....the tracks I'm going to run they can't spell fuel let alone check it every week....they want cars...they aren't interested in driving money away........when there's a tour race the rush staff will do the checking........

As I understand it the "identifier" is the same in both fuels...... they can't tell 91 from 110.....just that it's approved Sunoco fuel.....and the approval is that its regular Sunoco fuel without additives to enhance horse power....

I think its perfectly ok for you to buy barrels of rush fuel and resell it to anyone you want..........in any quantity you want

I had planned on buying a crate motor this year and running rush. Simply because fast track isn't in my area. But after I read the fuel rule it made up my mind. As you can see in the classifieds I have everything for sale. Tracks are crooked enough. There is no reason to make it brand specific. 93 octane max would've been good. I could've stopped at sheetz got my gas. I'm tired of everyone having a hand out. Screw it. I'll save my money and go watch the Lucas boys run a couple times a year.

Since that group has decided to have a monopoly on the class. Which by the way, I believe is illegal. ARE THE PURSES BEING RAISED ? and please don't say it's in the point fund. Here you have a guy selling fuel and what ? Do they want you to BUY a dealership ? They do less and less and make more and more.

I don't know where you are getting that from. I re read the email and it doesn't say anything about that. I have a drum sitting in my garage already and it's Sunoco Standard 110. The reason you can't mix them is for tech purposes but whatever. I get it. Your not gonna make money selling fuel. I have a few other friends who feel like you do. I also have a bunch of others who are happy about the deal so if there's one thing I've learned in racing it's that someone is always unhappy !!

Additives and/or blending of any type including; methanol, alcohol, nitrous oxide, propylene oxide, nitromethane or other performance enhancing chemical additives will not be permitted. NO mixing of the Sunoco 110 & RUSH 91. Fuel may be tested from time-to-time and/or submitted for verification by designated RUSH Racing Series and/or Track Officials to Sunoco Race Fuels.

I get that and I'm fine with it. Run one or the other. My point is the 110 is not a Rush fuel or does it have a special marker in it for Rush specifically. It has one that has always been there that Sunoco can test for. The 91 is different. I'm not trying to bust your balls or even argue about the rule. It is what it is and I think you could contact Sunoco and get the 110 and become a dealer for that yourself. One of my good buddies talked to Sunoco at PRI and they pretty much told him as much.
