He got a few wins here and there but struggled for the most part on a weekly basis. He's already been better overall this year than the past few. Had a few rough outings in Florida but picked it up since.
You realize Richards and Davenport won like 90% of the speedweeks shows and Scott did win one of them. Davenport is having a historical run right now the likes of which is rarely seen and Richards isn't far behind.
Also do you realize that he just won a $20k to win Lucas Oil show 2 days ago?
As far as answering the main topic at hand, I'd expect about 35 cars. The Lucas guys plus Eddie Carrier, Josh Richards, Mason Ziegler, Satterlee as some of the bigger regional guys. Would be cool if somebody like Brian Shirley or Mike Marlar came as well but I'd be surprised.

Hucks car isnt ready, if you read his twitter, like the people above say he is building decks for almost more than a $10,000 pay day.

Yup, fully aware of Richards setting the pace in Florida and Davenport being right behind him. Yes, Bloomquist won 1 race down south but was basically mid pack the rest of the races. What does them winning have to do with him finishing mid pack "Well Davenport AND Richards are here so I might as well ride around in 10th, screw trying to get a top 5"... ??? Is he not good enough to outperform them both? He can still win big races and have good runs but he's hit or miss as most everyone in Lucas is except Davenport. With the way everyone continues to worship Bloomquist it would appear he hasn't lost in years. Like I said, he won some big races last year and CAN still be a threat at any track but week to week he struggled and didn't have the impact he did in years past and by this I don't just mean wins, solid consistent runs were not there. He said this himself. Does that mean he sucks, no but did he outperform people on a nightly basis for the attention he continually gets, no. Davenport's accomplishments aside, because he was impossible to catch, everyone was racing for second ao I guess Bloomquist reverted back to his last days with the outlaws by just riding around when the purses were low and actually putting in effort when the purses were higher. That must explain all the ho hum runs then? Figured if the championship wasn't a lock then he'd just get easy money and then give a damn when the big races come around? He does put asses in the seats because of who he is and he IS the name in late model racing but he continues to be a guy that rides on his name and slides by because of who he is, no matter how he finishes he'll still be talked about because he has his fans and is liked and respected by a lot of people. He could care less until the money shows up because it's not worth his time or effort to try. He did fine against the best competition at the WDTC and took home $20,000 at Lernerville with no problem, so he is either inconsistent or just doesn't care. I feel it's the latter and to me, when you're running a national touring circuit you shouldn't be racing for money which it seems he does. He once said that he doesn't race for less than $7,000 after going half speed for two laps during qualifying at an outlaw race in WV. When people are paying to see you race and taking time out of their schedules and lives, have some decency and make it worth your time to actually care. Someone like that doesn't deserve to be gushed over. He is talented and he builds good cars but he lacks in character and class. If he was genuinely struggling and working on the setup, okay Davenport made people go back to the drawing board, but if it was him being the Bloomquist that coasted during his final season with the outlaws then, to me, showing up and giving no effort unless the pay suits you means you're not relevant. Davenport didn't take a night off last year and showed up week in and week out, $7,000, $10,000, $15,000, or $100,000 it didn't matter he was there giving his all and for that I applaud him. whether he was the guy to beat or not, running 1st, or 10th, he still tried and if he wasn't leading it wasn't for lack of effort.

That he did, he started to show up after Davenport checked out but Bloomquist was a top 2/3 car or he was 10th. I suppose this happens when you consistently run 100 lap races but Bloomquists history with doing this has to be looked at, you can say it's dumb but he's done it before so i disagree. He won 5 races in a row but I'd also like to see what those purses were just because I'm curious not because i'm disputing your facts. Plus he had to flex his muscle and make sure you didn't forget him ;-) with Davenportmania running wild and all. So were his wins because he felt like it or did he just happen to run into some good luck at a perfect time to show Davenport who's boss while still not winning a title. He wins big races but he can't win a title then, is this what we're saying. What about Don winning the title two years ago? Did Bloomquist win some big races that year too, but also not really care enough about consistency or was he just not the best driver that year? If I remember correctly he didn't run a full schedule. Finishes were there as he had many top fives and a few wins on the lucas tour but he wasn't to all the shows so he must not care about titles anymore. We don't reward consistency here or what? We overlook the off nights and only acknowledge a guys big wins, but don't discuss his struggles? No love for Brad Sweet finishing top 10 every race, we'd rather point out that Schatz has the same amount of wins and overlook why he's 100 points behind sweet... Schatz knows about consistency better than anyone with his 20+ wins in a season and no championship. I guess wins and $$$ are what guys are measured by. So consistency and titles mean nothing and Shane Clanton must be garbage then?

Bloomer said on more than one occasion. WE ARE TRYING SOME NEW THINGS. It was obvious everyone was chasing Davenport. It made rocket come out with the xr-1. Which by the way, is very fast. Do people realize when you change up the chassis you basically have to throw the setup book out the window. They way the chassis rolls will change almost everything. Shocks. Tires.
How many think the LEGEND will be at Sharon ? I think if it's not a pain in the ash rain chaser you may see 60 SLM. Wish I could be there for that one. If John does make it I hope he does well. Will Alex be in the 47 or will he be at PPMS ?
Name calling has no place directed at anyone.
LEGEND at sharon..... thats funny.

Put down the crack pipe. 60 late models at Sharon? i'm looking forward to this race as much as anyone, but to expect anything over 30 cars is just silly.
30 cars will be the minimum considering there are atleast 20 lucas regulars, WoO does not have a show this weekend, and Ohio tracks run Saturdays. I was at Atomic in March and they had 55 cars at 20 degrees cooler. I see 40 - 50 cars there.

I could see it but some guys don't cross series and I believe Chub and Boom are those type, On the other hand , lucas has never come this close to home, I don't believe. Could be wrong on that though.

I would figure Boom would be more likely than Chub to be honest. Boom randomly showed up at Tri-City last year for a ULMS race while he was off from WoO and couldn't talk Chub into coming with. Would love it is Richards came but I highly highly doubt it. I think once the series actually start and get into full swing guys don't cross lines until the pay is very large.

Boom broke his wrist in a qualifying accident at Farmer City and had surgery and is going to be out of the car for quite a while.
You really don't know anything about late model racing.

There are 12 Lucas regulars. I don't know where you'd get "at least 20" from.
