That race, wouldn't make my top 100. Just a typical race. John Boy,couldn't get past him,so he took him out. Maybe, with a little patience,he could have, But,as someone said. He was up on the wheel. LOL. That's not the first issue,John has had over the years, with the 1C.
I'd like to see video of just one race better, one weekly friday night SLM race better than 7/29/16,Lernerville. Hate who you want and BOO your $14 dollars worth, people pay to see a guy try to get to the checkered first. That's what I saw Friday. Top to bottom, all of the track. 8 cars could of won that race. I saw nothing intentionally dirty by either driver (JMO). If you'ld rather watch fast cars follow each other around single file go to an asphalt track....If you can find one still open.....

What that video does not show is lap 8 when Flinner had a clean run outside of pegher on the front stretch and pegher steered into him causing Flinner to contact the outside wall. Watch again ...when the persons camera moved back to the leaders Flinner is sliding side to side near the bottom entering turn 1. This was after being walled by pegher. Turn about is fair play .
Check that again cause the video clearly shows pegher could have clearly done the same slide job that was done to him later in the race and he didn't cause he knew flinner wouldn't have lifted and would have wrecked them both. Then Flinner loses grip an goes down into pegher right before the flag stand then pegher drives up the track to save his own butt. I am saying you just proved my point of who the cleaner racer is. Look at lap 8 and then 17 with roles reversed. I don't know that Flinner was playing dirty but sure the hell ain't no wheelman or great driver cause he was driving way over his head especially for having over 40 years experience compared to pegher's 10 and only 2 in SLM. Kudos to Pegher for not running him over and he ain't stayin the race if he doesn't back out, plus side Flinner wouldn't have either.

Screw 13, You couldn't give a more opposite description of what actually happened if you tried. You saw what you wanted to see, not what happened. Now you'll blow your mouth on here trying to make it true.
You are a fu(/tard.
What is funny here is that I stated the facts and all you could come back with it not very clever name calling. You sound a little bitter like Mr. Flinner in winner circle. I love the fact he already had excuses and a reply caused he knew the boos were coming and honestly it was probably 50/50. I have known personally as well have watched him race for a long time. He knows better but just doesn't care bout anybody else but John Flinner. I am not saying there is anything wrong with that but I don't have to like it. I have seen John run many other races 10 time better.

Also would like to shout out to Mike Norris who didn't have the car to win but realized it and ran a very fast but clean race.

With 2 local Saturday night tracks, 1 the sale and the other ?.. The future of Friday night racing at lernerville looks strong for the future. Good day of racing I say.

My post on page 1 was not aimed at you or anyone else, it is just a description of what happened, and I was watching closely and had a good view. Your view from behind the glory hole was probably at least partly blocked.

That was no slide job. Flinner put the nose into Pegher's rear tire going into 3. Then when Pegher didn't spin he just drove into him. Flinner doesn't put up with anyone out driving him.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Hmmm. Amazing how we all see things differently. I saw multiple sliders by a lot of drivers. All looked good to me. In all classes too. But Mr. Flinner does it and its dirty driving. Not this time guys. Not this time. 1C had a break pedal too and John was well across his front end before there was contact. Understandable that you don't necessarily like him but that was a clean racing move.

Very good insight ! I remember a local driver winning by hitting so many cars that everyone nick named him "CUE BALL" and a nascar driver winning all the time by obvious dirty driving but so many fans thought it was the coolest thing going. Go figure !

It's not the slider I have the big problem with. It's flinner going after Pegher's tire. You can't justify that when flinner does it or when kelly does it in the sportsmen.Hmmm. Agreed. The slide job was clean. The driving into LR was not, and consequently slowed the 1C down and then allowed the clean slide job to happen, Otherwise it probably would have been a door slam and the 1C into the wall.
The Rim Ryder!!! Wooooo

Watch part 5 of the video clear as day as it was filmed were it happened.
This move reminds me of what Miley did to Lake in turn 1 earlier this year. Just drifted up the track and bam into the other car.
