I see Thomas Meat Market on every car at lernerville LOL!

I see an opportunity for myself and other fans to make effort to go to Thomas Meat Market and make a purchase.  And while doing so make darn certain those working in the store know you came by to check out their store and buy something because of their involvement in racing at Lernerville.

Please explain where you find humor in supporting racing?

My feeling about it is "I see Thomas Meat Market on every car at Lernerville.   WOW! and thank you Thomas Meat Market from this fan for supporting the sport I enjoy."

Looks like if your coming through Butler to Lernerville instead of turning right up the hill at Sheetz go straight through.  The turn left at the first left onto Bullcreek Road, which will dead end at Dinnerbell Road where you turn left again.  It's not out of the way coming from Butler and there's no reason any fan going to Lernerville through Butler can't check the store out.  Also if you normally take Bonniebrook, you already know going through Butler instead ain't much more in time.

If your coming from Cranberry Township all you need to do to check it out is go up 8 a little past 228 and turn left onto Dinnerbell Road.

If you go north up 358 to get to Lernerville you'll have to make a little effort to go a little early to check it out since it's up just a little past Lernerville.  But heck racers and racing fans make effort all the time to support racing, so do it.   :)

Store Hours

Monday - Thursday
8:00 'till 5:00

Friday
8:00 'till 6:00   Fantastic people they stay open an extra hour on Fridays to accommodate fans on their way to Lernerville.

Open till 6pm on Fridays.  I will be there Friday with my cooler before the race to make a purchase.  I hope the line is long.   :)

Tim is an awesome guy.  I talked to him recently, and he decided to sponsor more cars because the Tomson's are making a comeback with Lernerville.

We need more people like him

You're a wonderful contributor the board. I can't decide if I like the "deleted" or posts featuring a single period better than the lengthy and numbingly tedious chassis adjustment ones. I'll have to get back to you.

I think Sparkler was saying that they are really stepping up with sponsoring a lot of cars in one way or another. They are like alternative power sources on a ton of cars now also up there I seen.

Thank you for the pat on the back and the boosting of my efforts.  The posts you noted are some of my best work and it's nice to gain your support.  I enjoyed your post and I miss being able to read more of your writing because you have greatly tapered off posting.   You might try my method of applying "delete" or a "." to your posting, so myself and others can enjoy your writing as much as you enjoy mine.  :)

I apologize for miss interpenetrating the meaning of your post.  There's has been so much negative on here in the past I jumped to the wrong conclusion.  Again I'm sorry for not understanding you correctly.

I'm still going to check out the sponsor store on my way to Lernerville Friday if it doesn't rain.

If you win at Lernerville they normally donate some meat snacks to the Future winner. Heard they taste great.

I checked out their site for the meat snacks and they have 6 flavors.  3 regular and 3 hot.

May be just the thing to pickup on the way to Lernerville, hope the line is long and I'm late getting there for hotlaps.  :)

Try the Creeper sticks from Thoma Meat Market.  Tim is a great guy and his Meat Market is really nice.

well kinda doubting the waiting for a wrap... im sure uncle (legendary) JOHNNY FINGER  does the decals

I do the graphics on the 75 and they didn't order a wrap for the Kryptonite until recently.  You will see it on the car the next time they hit the track.

He has dropped off the Lucas Oil tour effective immediately. I guess the provisionals have finally run out after almost a year-and-a-half worth.

Seen this on his website.  Thought it was pretty hilarious. Stormed through the field ???  Everyone else dropped out !!  LOL

The following night Colton headed to Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio) for the Steel Valley 50. Following a 9th place finish in his heat race, Flinner fell two positions short of a transfer spot in his B-Main forcing him to use a provisional into the A-Main. Starting in 24th, Colton Flinner stormed through the field 16 positions reeling in an impressive 8th place finish.

I don't believe he passed one car there all night. Every car dropped out in front of him and that is how he got up to 9th by just paddling along going slow.

I was there Alky. Youtube the video of the race and you will see he was not even trying in the feature. He was just taking it easy because of the ruts and track conditions. Pretty smart.

there was 2 guys that have come out of western pa recently you could say. Colton and Danny Holtgraver. both on restrictive budgets but both living a dream, danny, as many up and coming fast sprint car guys do, busted up some equipment. he got in a ride that took him on the road more or less, everyone thought this is the break the kid needed. in the end, how has that worked out ? Colton is still out there hopefully living his dream, he races around without his 45K durham under his foot, he can't dive under a guy entering a corner if the outcome means a wrecked race car, and yet people bash the hell out of this kid. if he has dropped from the tour I hope he takes what he has learned and wins some local races then maybe all the bashers will have someone else to hammer on. or will it then be called cherry picking.

Durhams are actually more than 45k. They're significantly more than that, and they're not necessary to late model success. Cases in point: Bobby Pierce, Josh Richards (who somehow won 5 WoO championships and about 100 national touring races running over everybody as you say), The CBR team, Brandon Overton, Shane Clanton, Dennis Erb Jr, The Rumley team and many others. Locally, I think Alex Ferree might be the only guy that has one.

For Colton, his chassis was far behind most of his competitors, especially as the Rocket XR1s and Longhorns came into vogue. As everybody else upgraded, he didn't. Even the Black Diamond/Club 29 cars are much different in 2017 than they were even in 2016. Colton was supposed to get one of them newer upgraded Club cars, but nothing ever came of it.

A bigger problem is his lack of aggression. It's extremely hard to advance position in a race if you're not really trying.
