How come his car has no sponsors? It's been like that for almost a month now. Did always sponsors pull out because he was running last constantly? Never did really understand why local sponsors would want you sponsor a car that is never being raced locally.
I don't know his situation, but I believe this is an area a lot of racers could use some work. Sponsors really don't get a ton of exposure from being on someone's car. What really makes them feel good is having a big picture, plaque, etc of the car (with their business name clearly visible) hanging in their office, lobby, or otherwise on display to their customers. It doesn't matter if the car is racing in California or Florida or Pittsburgh, as long as the sponsors feel important and appreciated, and potential customers can see it. Seeing pictures of race cars in local businesses can also increase interest from new potential fans. It's a win for everyone. A lot of guys just take a check and show their sponsors no return on the investment, then wonder why it's hard to get them all back for following seasons.

Maybe they're waiting on a wrap for it?

I agree with the post about sponsors 714d s. We used to give them some of the panels at the end of the year with their business name on it to hang out and they loved it. Also took the car to their company picnics and events. Those were the good old days I guess.

Actually, John doesn't do Coltons decals. How's Doug Crawford these days?

Highly doubt it takes 4 weeks to get a wrap.

He hasn't had the Kryptonite 4 weeks. That's the car that isn't wrapped.

He did, and that wasn't 4 weeks ago.

Ask Rob Cochran and Tim Thoma about how much sponsorship is wasted money.
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.
