He told me they are still upset about how they got screwed out of the provisional for the pittsburgher.

You gotta be kidding me. Matt Miley never screwed anyone.

Last year there was no track provisional at the Pittsburgher. Went to fastest qualifier not make race and highest finishing rocket not in the show if I remember correctly.

Mcs. Is supposedly one of the lower paying shows for slm. But, the 10 car for whatever reason seems to be bouncing between the 2 tracks. Will it keep up ? Nobody has that answer. Myself, nothing more than speculation and throwing a opinion out there. The state of local dirt track racing is not good. People say to many tracks and not enough cars, I don't feel it is the only reasoning, many of these guys are racing at tracks that they feel suits them best. Ppms has speed, it also has guardrail that doesn't move. Mcs at one time had one of the nicest surfaces in western pa. I haven't been there in yrs. Mercer is a tuff little bullring to get a SLM around, sheet metal repair is a weekly repair job. Stateline draws a large field every week, the Blairs drive up every week. Off track, yes, but some of these places have to be on the verge of chaining the gates and only becoming a memory.

Who won Saturday? Everyone associated with Marion Center should be proud of the timely updates they provide.

Jeff Sweeney. DoD usually has the top five from there within a few hours.

I may be mistaken but I think this was only his second or third race in a super late.

He was always fast and smooth in the street stocks winning many races.

He's ran steel blocks for year or so and this was about his 5th or 6th race this year.

Thank you. Never in a million years thought to check there since they never post results here and barely update their website, Twitter and Facebook.
