Most of you guys confuse me.. if you go to a track and the tow truck is too slow you complain, if the food is too expensive you complain, if the track prep is off you complain and if some one wants to spend their money on racing you complain. Why are you watching racing?  Here you have a good driver, good equipment and good preparation who is fun to watch race and you still complain. I enjoy racing with and talking to the 28n team, stop by and talk to them, to see for yourself. I do not think dominate cars are bad for the sport, it will bring people back to the track. Some to see them do well and some that hope they get beat, either way it is good for racing. If they keep winning maybe the track will put a bounty out to see if others will step up their game or try new set-ups to beat them. To all of you that complain - go watch golf! To the 28n team good luck and keep it up!

moving from a street stock to a Rocket chassis is like being set free..

the stockcar will do maybe 60 percent of what you want to do but the late model will do 80 percent.

he's probably yellin' yee haw! everytime that thing comes off the corner..lol..the rest of the guys have to figure out how to use what they have.

^yes. I was going to add that and forgot to. It is their first year. I'm sure they had no idea they would be this successful right away. There are other fast cars that have all won multiple races as well, and some that are surely capable. Just keep digging for more speed. It's not like a dominant superlate driver moved down to spank on a bunch of novice late model drivers. That'd be a whole new topic. Having a brand new chassis kinda goes against what the class is about, but there's no rule for that, so no argument there either.

I was reffering to the VSI cars, not Nate Smith, just to clarify that.

technically it is not a brand new chassis, all Kline did was copy an Xr1 and slap his sticker on it. Might be new tubing, but it's a copy of what was already out there.

I don't think anyone questions that he is a good driver, with superior equipment. I just wonder how he is faster than the super late winner. I think he is great. They are certainly on to something if legal.
If I had any criticism of the 28n it would be that his restarts are dangerous to other competitors

Folks need to understand, lap times mean absolutely nothing more than for placement in a qualifying situation, there are a lot of variables that go along with them, for example,in a large group say 50 cars, you may find that the faster times would be in the middle or later part of that qualifying depending on how the track is prepared for the first group, generally when attending a time qualifying race you do not want a low number draw.

This past Friday he was playing with the field. Check out the 7/14 times. He was consistently faster than the supers. I think his fastest lap was .4 quicker than Doug Eck who won supers lates. His feature times were quicker than the supers during their heats when they were on a tacky track.
