Its the PPMS websiteI've been to countless special events at PPMD and have rarely been let down. I was not at the track tonight so don't know if the race was good or not, but bitching about an internet app u don't have to pay for takes the cake.

The Truth, in case you haven't figured it out, the Miley's want out. The place has gone thru a decline in recent years nobody is questioning that. A free internet app I'm sure is not on there list of things to worry about. IMO they are probably losing money every week they open the gates. PPMS will one day be gone and some of the best racing will ne nothing more than a memory. If what ever it is that takes over that property I hope the hell they are successful because if not the Miley's will probably get blamed for that failure too. Over the years I have seen that place with pits jammed with cars, long concession lines, a pa system that worked. Why would they keep the place open. For us the fan is why. Maybe there tech nerd will get the problem fixed. Someday that also will be gone and were is the race fan going to go then ? The sport is not gaining new fans or participants. I wonder what the age range is of the people that follow racestud ? 64 here.

Waters had the RUSH feature won, Mollick was in 3rd a long way back. Late race caution is what got him back into contention. On restart Waters and Charlier both went low in 1 and left the outside wide open.

If the Mileys want out then they shouldn't have gotten in. The guys that they screwed out of the track had money to invest and had already made plans to start improvements. That was their opportunity to just show up on Saturdays and race and relax.

Gearhead, I don't disagree with what happened in the past, but what's stopping them or anyone else actually from buying it the last 5 years and making the improvements now versus letting it become a soccer field?

Charlier doored Waters in 1&2, that left the outside open for Mollick.

The Mileys won't sell it to somebody who wants to keep it a racetrack. At least not for a reasonable price. Maybe they're afraid of being shown up by somebody who can make the place hugely successful? They ruined the last opportunity for the track to be renovated, now they should morally float reasonable offers to people who want to keep it a track, but that won't happen.
I'm sure they would like to see it stay a racetrack, they are a racing family more so than most for $$$$$$$$$$ invested. It's business, you don't make that kind of investment with your $ and sell it for a loss, you need to make a profit or at minimum get your initial $ back.
If someone wanted to take it on as a racetrack they would lay down the buck.
I don't think it is going to sell to anyone for a long time, the assumption of liability from prior use is the factor.
"Maybe they're afraid of being shown up by somebody who can make the place hugely successful?"
Who is this buyer and why have they not laid the money down????
Plain stupid TALK.
