The 60m team failed tech at Lernerville and was DQ at PPMS. RUSH put out a statement stating he would lose monies and points. On the RUSH site, he did not earn points for that night, but he was given PPMS points for the night. I dont agree with cheating period and think more than a slap on the wrist was in order, as do most people other than you and Howie. If a team deemed illegal twice was at your track all year and still taking money and points away from legal cars wouldnt you want something done about it?

RUSH never stated in their statement that there would be a loss of points. The rules state that there would be loss of points and monies for a traction control device...which it wasn't.

The problem is those same fans that had hope for improvement never saw anything happen. Many just quit going. You have to remember the other racetracks in western pa/Ohio are dam good facilities. Lernerville, always improving, it is without question the benchmark. Mercer, even when Vicki had the place to the current owner. They have maintained the grounds and made improvements. Sharon another facility that is a place fans want to go to. Marion center, I haven't been to Pott's track in years, but as I remembered it it was always a well kept track. PPMS. NOTHING. It is falling into disrepair right before the fans eyes. I don't know how you keep fans when they can see what is happening right in front of them. I always thought you would see a group of retired racers put something together. For reasons that not one of us understand there must be underlining issues. Or the asking price is non negotiable.

The place needs some TLC, but the racing is usually top-notch. They have lots of different divisions throughout the season which helps make up for the low Late Model car count. No sense dredging up the past.
Things would probably be better if Red Miley were still alive but he's not. So, all of you who want to see the place stay open need to support the weekly shows.

Points I have no idea about, what do you get if you win the track points...a sticker?

I dont believe you win anything, but it is a matter of principal. A car that failed tech twice within a few weeks was not really reprimanded in anyway.

You are so right.  I really enjoyed the racing there, but I just saw no improvements and it seems like it was going into the ground., Would have loved to have seen Ed Ferree,or someone buy the place and keep it up. I just started going other places,a few years back..If the weather looked good, I went to Smethport, when they ran every week or Hesston or somewhere out east. Weather looked shaky, I went to Marion Center. Frankly, I thought it would be closed by now. Not bashing the place, JMO.   So, racer67x  ,I haven't been down in 3 and 4 in your spot, for a while

Answer this: Why didn't the "group" buy the track when it was listed for sale, or now for that matter?

Because he passed away. Do you have reading comprehension issues?

It was for sale years before he passed, why did he/they not buy it from them????

This just is not a viable reason.

It's not like the Miley's bought it to close it, they keep it running even with the greatly reduced car and fan numbers.

So how many car/fans do you think you have ridden off with your constant bashing ? ? ?

You obviously have no idea what it takes to run a business or a household, as you likely live with your parents still @ likely age 30+, correct?

I've been in business management for years, so yes, I'm more than familiar. And buying a facility with no intention of maintaining it isn't a good idea. I haven't run anybody off, people form their own opinions.

McDonalds shift manger is not business management......still no reply on the basement dweller, so the rumor is fact.

From a business standpoint they bought real estate, that just happens to have a racetrack on it.....and they continue to run the racetrack.

You still don't answer the question that dispels you conspiracy theory. Why didn't they buy it???

I think the folks may make you to go to bed early tonight!

...........I'm done with this kid.

What are you, 14? Mcdonalds and basements are completely irrelevant, but you are a moron so whatever. Obviously your parents don't let you go to any tracks besides PPMS so you really aren't qualified to comment at all. Maybe you should get out a little. And as I already explained, Red passed away. How is a dead person going to purchase a racetrack?..... I'm done with this idiot.

You don't get reprimanded for failing pre race tech for gods sake. And you clearly don't know the 60 car owners if you think for a second that they are going to hack up their car with a pair of tim snips just to race you are sadly mistaken. They weren't told to leave Lenerville they left on their own to go home and fix the minor body infractions to be ready for the next race period. The Pittsburgh race they were reprimanded they didn't get paid for the race. If the device that was deemed illegal was anything more than a damn lap timer I'm sure there would've been much more punishment. But contrary to popular speculation it wasn't. The only thing the other drivers want is to not see the 60 in victory lane. Why because it's a really good car with a really good driver PERIOD.

Ask our buddy Buttbeak. McD's has been known to hire the mentally challenged, which explains why he's the fast food expert. :D

Obvious your not done, and can't deny most of the personal facts I pointed out here boy.

I can't believe the Miley family even lets you on the property.

Your exactly what the sport doesn't need with the state it is in.

The track was for sale long before he passed, he may have resurrected the track IF he bought it, but the fact is he didn't and had the opportunity....when alive. No denying he was a good dude, with good intentions,

I sat and talked with him a few  times on the tailgate of a truck near the chalkboard in the pits.

Most dirt tracks are dumps, PMS has crumbling infrastructure, but the racing there is still some of the best in the area, and the most important part of a dirt track is the track, with more than one line. A lot of people work very hard to make the show happen every week,  track personnel, safety crew, race teams, etc. Dickheads like you have no clue the hard work, time, sacrifices and dedication involved. I'm sure your the type that loves to see wrecks. The stupid shit you post gets under a lot of those peoples skin.

Clearly you have never looked into the owners of the car because they are proven cheaters through and through. Talk to some of the other drivers that race against him and see how happy they are with the results of the situation. Im not at all disputing that they have a good car and the best of everything. But if thats the case then why do they need to cheat?

I thought you were done? Apparently not. And your reading comprehension issues have resurfaced again because I said the racing was great on Monday. Show me where I said it wasn't. And I never said anything about the personnel, crews, teams, etc., show me where I did. I have been a fan of numerous teams at PPMS over the years. Now you're just making stuff up because you're losing the argument.
