New Ownership. Some of the decisions made seemingly haven't been very popular.

Also what a clusterfug at the pay gate this past Friday. I was told at entrance I needed to change my rain check for new ticket. I then stand in long line for the lady to tell me to go to entrance. Can we get the staff on the same page... i just said screw it and walked thru the gate to the left... retarded

You know something I'm tired of going to Lernerville for the big 3 and seeing the big 2.5 instead they need to just drop late models already and concentrate on getting a full field of modifieds with good drivers such as Kevin Bolland even though Lernerville sued him and he won he never comes anymore maybe he's afraid of getting sued again because even in the last couple of years he barely even hits anyone and doesn't run up front maybe because he's not driving so rough anymore and more drivers from Canada to make a great modified field take the money they would save on paying late models and draw in some more modifieds they already get sprints and sportsmans in the 20s they'll never get that many late models I hope they concentrate on modifieds next year a lot to think about in the offseason and for those that would miss late models you could just flip a coin between #72 and #10 and pretend you saw them race maybe they would drive modifieds if Lernerville dropped late models and maybe some of the other late model drivers too then you would just need Revin Kevin 777 and a couple more drivers from Canada boom best modified field in the country.

The SLM counts are shocking yes, but you mention getting good Sportsman counts.... This will change if they don't change their rules. Only a couple of guys like the crates (the only two that win) and only GM metric limits cars as well. They need to change or sell because the arrow is pointing downward.

That's what everyone said when they went to crates they still get first or second highest car counts every week the crates are real money savers under the hood and the shadetree mechanics don't have to worry about their motors blowing up every other week or getting caught cheating the only ones who don't like it are the ones who were getting away with cheating and not getting caught now they don't have an advantage just excuses.

Lose the Supers and lose me and company.
So how is the tech of the crate motors? Is there any?

I've seen some pretty damn good races with 10 cars or less there over the past two years. I guess everybody forgets the battle between russ King Mike pegher and Jared Miley last year with a handful of cars. One of the best races I ever saw there.

crates are money savers for the people who do not know how to build or freshen a motor. for guys who know how to build a motor, you can build a more reliable piece that makes more horsepower for the same money. the rules worked out fine when open motors and crates were both allowed. I would be willing to bet that if they went to penn ohio rules, even given the LM tire rule and dirtcar membership, that you would be running b-mains in the sportsman division every week.

Kevin Bolland isn't racing much of anywhere this year!! Maybe some 3-4 times so far. The main reason is that he and his family have been moving their business and don't have the time to do upkeep on a race car!! And in line with that, still just have that old outdated car!! About the only times Bolland has run this year have been with the BRP or other specials. No weekly shows at either Lernerville or Sharon.
GOOD RACING!!

Super Late Models at a local level will be dead before long with the way things are heading.

Boland sued Lernerville, over the lifetime ban that he fully deserved. He was caught using a two-way radio. They had him. His brother switched frequencies to race control's frequency after he totally destroyed Swartzlander's car. It wasn't even close to just racing. He took him out. If Boland isn't last, he's cheating! Good riddance!
My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Yup, the hundreds of people in the stands will quit going if they don't get to see Mike Norris win 9 out of 10 combined heats and features over 8 cars every week, versus watching 24-28 weekly Crate late models instead.
The crate trains are just so exciting[/sarc]. 20 cars, only 4-5 have any chance of actually passing anyone. You talk about Mike Norris winning everything, but completely ignore the same thing for Corey MacPherson in the crates, and even more so now with the underpowered motors.
