Also what a clusterfug at the pay gate this past Friday.  I was told at entrance I needed to change my rain check for new ticket.  I then stand in long line for the lady to tell me to go to entrance. Can we get the staff on the same page...  i just said screw it and walked thru the gate to the left...  retarded

I got denied the use of a rain check.  Was told they don't honor rain checks.  The guy next to me forgot to bring his, and asked if he could bring it next week and was told the same thing, No rain checks.  I call bullshit.  I call greed.

After missing 3 weeks to rain the pop goes up to $2.50.  They got my last dollar Friday night.  Down down down they go.

Is the UMP deal at Lernerville hurting the LM counts more than helping??

What are the benefits of having UMP at Lernerville?? What are the cons if they eliminated UMP??

Yeah The UMP rule for sure hurts them. Puts them on an island. You either have to but two sets of tires one for Lernerville the other for other tracks or run just at Lernerville. Most teams can't afford that and dont want tied down to just one speedway. Therefore the rule at Ville means drop ins are never going to happen. You would have 5 or 6 cars more there weekly without the tire rule. Might not be the same cars every week, but you would get more. The benefit is someone gets paid for the rule to exist. Supposedly those guys could be getting UMP points but you never hear about it. Just hoping someone finally sees the light and opens up tire rule or at least changes it to a compound rule dropping the LM UMP tire.

As far as the purse goes this weekend I noticed the double purse from the original schedule was changed to increased purse a while back. A shame they could have had a nice show to celebrate the 50th anniversary even if they needed to up the admission, but now it will be nothing special.

If you look at the top 50 in UMP national points and the top 10 in all their various regional points there are zero Lernerville LM drivers listed. Though they haven't been updated since mid-August.....

What you fail to remember is that Lernerville implemented rules on the SLM that are totally out of the norm. On board fire extinguisher, had to have a certified fuel cell, full containment seat and a emergency shut off switch. I am all for safety but I am totally against the seat. You trap the driver in the car. There are fuel cells just as good just a money making scheme, because only one company makes this fuel cell with certs. As for the shut off switch- how many of the safety crew members know where its located? It use to be in the car now it's outside. How many really know where its located? Just like the spec tires, it chased away some teams. Maybe the sanction isn't worth losing money over. Enforce rules and make competition equal and they will come.

Everybody bitches about Lernerville's late model rules keeping cars away, but what's every other track that's only getting 10-15 cars excuse?

The fact of the matter is that there's a special with a solid purse availiable within a few hours basically every weekend, and that's where the cars go.

I got in on a raincheck. You should call the office.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

Topic was about SLM, not Stocks. Not worth arguing over as all the Stock drivers talked tough and were selling everything then they all bought Crates anyways.

My topic was about Lernerville changing the payout this week. Not the useless LM, Crates Ect. So all the yo yos are off my topic. How about starting one and continue the crate crap somewhere else

Its moves like this causing the low counts. Teams are tired of the management there. Alot of teams will be going different ways next season, and this move isn't going to help the tracks cause. It's a shame.

If you had  COMP ticket those were not honored! You had to have PAID to exchange for a rain check. It was stated right at the window on the piece of paper. I got in fine with my rain checks, so something about yours was not legit!

After one year of them running the show their own way? I'm shocked.

I find the ladies at the main ticket window rude and lazy!!  Go in the general admission window at the pit gate.  Always a smile and a thank you. Gave me a new ticket for  my rained out stub.  No questions asked!!

Gary doesn't look so bad know does he ? After they told him his services were no longer going to be needed I figured they were looking at ways to do things there way. There's been a lot of change since new mamagement came along. Paying for camping, concession quality and pricing, rules. Hotrod, Yea I would be pissed to if I was told and read one thing and another happens. But unfortunately those magic words of subject to change. It sure is change, the present management maybe has a different view of things. The UMP tire rule is ridiculous. The drivers and owners don't benefit from it. The penn Ohio series keeps growing and lernerville goes backwards. That series was looking for a home track and that could have been lernerville. Guys could have moved up to 1 of the big 3. Don't forget, next year brings the new sprint car series to a local track near you. Change is coming you can bet on that.

Most of the 410 guys already said that if they push the crate shit on sprints they will run else where. I understand the "subject to change" but they shouldnt be running the add in Area Auto to try and pull cars. It's a dirty move. Period. If guys from central PA (that run for 3200 weekly, not 1400) show up and win, what do you honestly think would happen. It's just a dirty move to try to attract more cars because there car counts have been falling. And will be worse next year. Believe me. Rumors are a few good teams won't be back because of things going on there. Some may not even do the Stampede because of all the tracks fees. I wish all the sprint guys would leave there quads and Mules at home stampede weekend instead of paying the fees, and that way the track would have to find a way to get them all to the line up area. Lol. It would be mass confusion. Can't understand how they charge them for there quads, which helps the program run faster. It's just another stupid move based off of greed.

The tire rule keeps us from dropping in. Expensive to buy tires to run at only one track.

As far as the seat, fuel cell, onboard extinguisher, and fuel cell, I believe these rules were changed for WOO and Lucas and a lot of other series? We did all the changes because it makes sense for the safety of our driver. The kill switch is located behind the driver's seat and there is still one in reach of the driver.

The tire rule keeps us from running there every so often. It came up just two weeks ago and we decided to got to DH since we did not want to spend the $1200 for tires.

Not so sure Gary was all that great for the place either. A lot of the things people are complaining about started while he was there. It's not like he raised the purse in 10 years either.
