http://www.teamblair....com/maxbio.htm

Take a look there. I see wins at Deleware, East Bay, Bubbas, Bedford, Roaring Knob, Winchester, Lernerville, Wayne County, Tyler County, WV Speedway, and more.

Great source, Hot Dog.  MANY more tracks:

Dog Hollow, Freedom, McKean, Eriez, Little Valley, Stateline, Tri City, Merrittville, Sharon, Expo, Marion Center, Clinton County, Raceway 7, Beckley, Humberstone, Mercer, PPMS, Challenger.

Wins at 28 tracks.  Championships out the woz.  And the lady that started this topic doesn't understand why he has fans?  I think that was her crux at one point, but since it has changed each time there is evidence presented, I'm not sure which point to address.  Why is Blair among the leaders in votes for the Million?  Someone already said it, the area pulls for its own.  Once Blair's name got near the top, it probably motivated more people to vote, and people to vote more.  Remember when Dave Hess, Jr. won the Nextel money?  It's a popularity contest.

D1RT, right on. It works for him, and his sponsors. Cant beat that.

And that is a heck of a list of tracks scruffy found there on his site. I said before that he probably won at more tracks than anyone around here, but I didn't have a list of all of them to prove it. That pretty much does. I cant think of anyone else racing locally/regionally around here that has won at that many places. Thanks for posting that.

If you want to get insulting we can go down that road. I asked a simple question and it has been answered. Like I said many times, I was asking an honest question not looking for an argument like some of Blair's "Fans". Just because you like him doesn't mean everyone you come in contact with has to. Get out of the welfare line every now and then and learn how to talk to people that have a different opinion than yours.

Personally I think Norris is the best around. He's fast everywhere he goes. I'd like to see him get a shot at running a national series and see how he would do.

i see him at eldora, lernerville, and volusia.  and make it known i don't care where he goes, blair trumps that schedule 4x over dude.....and wins....

I agree, Norris's schedule is similar to Max's really. But he doesn't get gushed over as much as Max so it doesn't bother people that he races 1 night a week. Yes he goes to eldora and yes he goes to florida but he doesn't do much else. For me though, the guys that have come out of Lernerville recently are the better bunch in Miley, Ferree, King, and Norris. Miley and King have both beaten Max at Eriez while Ferree runs great against all the northerners. But out of those drivers only Norris runs weekly.

Both Blairs and Hess are the best the north has to offer and this season Rob has yet to race and Hess hasn't gone more than a week without engine issues.
Dave is my favorite to watch up north and he runs anywhere. Should've gotten his 2nd WoO win at wayne county earlier this year but cut a tire.

When it come to Blair, I think it was ridicilous that his fans were commenting with 100% sincerity that Bloomquist should put him in his car when he was "injured". Ridicilous yes, but was I surprised... no. That's the main thing a lot of people have against Max is the homerish nature of some of his fans in the IRC (Internet racing community) but it's really no fault to him. He has die hard fans, most people would kill to have a cult like following. If we're picking locals, he'd honestly be 3rd or 4th on my list of people that i'd sub for Bloomquist behind Miley, Ferree, and King. I might even put Hess in front of him but that's just me.

I don't see what you're referring to as an insult, but this is the age of being offended, so wear your pink hat and be offended, sister.  Maybe you're just sad that you didn't get the reactions you were looking for; I don't know.

You say you were not looking for an argument, yet you blindly refuted each valid point brought up.  It seems that seeking an argument is exactly why you began this topic.

Your advice about talking to people with a different opinion was nice, but I didn't provide an opinion, so it's impossible to know if our opinions are different or if they are the same.  What I do know is different is that you are not a fan and can't seem to understand why others are, while I am not a fan (or a non-fan, for that matter) but can understand why others are.  It's very telling that you interpret providing statistics (facts) as being a fan.

Perhaps you should read an entire topic before opening your mouth. I stated quite some time ago that I understand, however that does not mean that I have to be a fan because others put him on a pedestal.

Sounds like to me that #thetruth is a Norris purest and was a little testy about the attention Max got for the DirtMillion.   I am a big Norris fan, think he deserves a shot with a National ride also but love the fact a local, any local is getting attention.   I have seen them both race at different venues.  I have to say if Max ran Lernerville on Fridays and Mike ran Eriez on Sunday every week?  It would probably be pretty close on win totals for the year.   As far as either one of them racing to MAKE money,  that is the most ridiculous comment I have ever heard.   They barely pay for tires on a weekly basis the way they both run their schedule.   I believe the term is they schedule so they can afford to keep racing. This topic is like anything else.  We know how opinions are and that was mine.

I wouldn't say I'm a Norris purist, just like the kid. I also don't have a problem with the attention Max gets, I just didn't understand why he gets it. The difference to me is for Max, racing and all involved is how he makes a living. Norris is a "weekend warrior" if you will with a regular job who's main income is not racing. In my opinion Norris is the better driver and I think he's showing that. I also agree I'd love to see Norris get a shot at running one of the national series.

Not to get too in depth to further this arguement, people shouldve realized years ago Max just isnt going anywhere, so its old news at this point. But I think this is comparing apples and oranges. Norris just started being this dominant 2 or 3 seasons ago meaning hes a few seasons behind Miley and Ferree, who now hit the big regional shows as opposed to weekly events. I can see Norris running a similar schedule to them, possibly as soon as next year, whereas arguing with the expectations that Max will sooner or later step up a level is a lost cause.

Who wants an autograph?

I don't think I am at all. I think if any local could make it, it would be Norris. He would certainly do better than Flinner did. I think that saying Max was in the same corner as him is irrelevant. What is the point of making that statement? "Yeah he lost but not by a lot." Norris had never been there before and he bested the field.

If I remember correctly, Hess lost everything in a fire not to long ago? Right? Its hard to come back from that now a days. As for Blair, who this thread is suppose to be about-he does it for a living and he goes where he makes money. I am not saying he cherry picks, just where the money is at. As for Norris, what did Kevin Harvick say about Jimmy Johnson at one time, something about a golden horseshoe? LOL!

Remember at the beginning of the year Miley was red hot!
