At least Andrew spent loads of money attempting to run late models before realizing that he wasn't going to be successful there. I would say he found a class he could spend boatloads of money on and be successful.

And he's slowly working back into late models again. They put in the work before hand as well, not just show up and then call their chassis guy inbetween the heat and feature when the setup is off. And they build their own stock cars

Spending happens in every class. It's the same with economods. You have Wilson running the CRS PRI show car that sold for $30,000 ans the motor in that thing sings. Plus they pull in with a toter home... then you have Rhoades with a brand new lethal and a big motor. Those guys have $30,000 in their cars alone compared to Miller, Reinwald, and Alexander who have probably half that in total. Money doesn't always beat talent but it erases a deficit...

Then you have Lunger whining because pro mods couldn't run Elite series races and how it wasn't fair... Well there's a rush series for pro mods that economods can't run in so it looks fair to me. Not to mention it's not as if he doesn't have enough going on with the open emod, the pro mod, and the crate late... you can never keep the money train out of lower classes. If you can't beat em, move down and outspend them.

 I am very curious where your facts came from.  Please enlighten me as to where your information comes from and I will gladly set the record straight on your statements regarding Rhoades.  You are way off base and it is rather amusing to dismiss a 2017 XR1 emod and good motor as being underfunded.  Those guys you mentioned are all good racers but to assume they spend half of anyone is funny.  Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.  And how big of a motor do you get in a 360 ci limited class?

My understanding is that Joe Martin got out of racing because his wife wanted him to and because they were having a child.  I believe he missed it and that is why he is now driving part-time just at Thunder Mountain because Jon Lee can't drive both classes.  My understanding also is that Peterman does own the 5L. Dog Hollow allows him to drive in both classes so he does.

From the car owner of the 61 & 5L, who is not a member. "Just want to set the record straight. We were never asked not to come back to Dog Hollow. I chose not to return because of continued bad calls, bounced checks, not being paid full purse in the 358 class where we won 9 straight races and a promoter that went to my driver on July 7 and told him he would have to pay him an extra $60 per week to run both cars. When they switched to Saturday nights, I personally talked to the promoter and asked him if Jon could run both cars. He said there would be an extra charge as he had charged the 18B for running a super and a crate in previous years. I told him we would not agree to that and would not race there. He said he would not charge the extra fee if we kept quiet. We started racing there with 3 cars on May 28th with no extra fee until July 7th when he approached Jon about the extra money. Jon never told me that he was paying the $60 out of his pocket until August 18th, when we were sent to the rear for a caution we were not involved in. I pulled the car off the track and then found out about the $60 fee and the non paid bad check fee's that were promised and not paid. I told the team that night we would not be back." We aren't the only cars that left for the same reasons.

I was told I would be suspended and fined if I said anything about my not getting paid or getting partial payments! But really letting certain teams pay to run in more than one class is like paying cash to get in the pits and running and not getting paid! Lol!
