It's hurting both series. Rush has come up with the mods and sprints because there is a ton of used equipment out there. Rocky, who started this thread, was hounded by officials because he was dominate. Rush can expand because we have the 3 major series in the tri state area. Fastrack does not and it hurts them.
You've seen some big SLM teams closing shop. My opinion is they spend a ton of money but these cars of today need more. Many of the top lucas and WoO guys haven't forgot how to drive. They just cann't get a handle on what these new cars need to get around the track. So what do they do ? Spend 40K on a new xr-1.
Rush and Fastrack. Look what your champions are unloading, how does the entry level or small team compete ? They can't!

it's not an entry level class, and never has been. you people make it look that way, but it's never have been, or will be........drive sprints then........about 12 g's, and they all were getting better.

Rocky, you started this and got a lot of folks thinking about your ideas. Ain't it about time you came back in and explain who's ideas are good and why other ideas are not good? Up front I figure my ideas are no good.

I have a question about the news from Mercer Raceway Park. Could this 602 modified division be, IMCA style Modifieds and NOT DIRTCAR Northeast style modifieds?
