Forget beating the top qualifying crate. I’d bet $100 his super late couldn’t win that race period even if he started on the pole.

Same post every year. If you can't afford it, don't go. I won't pay what the Steelers want for a football ticket, but I don't get on a sports board or the Steeler Facebook page every year bitching about it.
Bitching is one thing. This is unethical price gouging. I fail to understand the Mileys reasoning and point of view that this is done to eliminate confusion in case of rain...anyone want to take a swing at explaining that one?

Ain't it simple? They want guaranteed rain or shine $50 from everyone who shows up no matter when the fan chooses to go there and $80 guaranteed from ever racer, support person or fan who goes in the back gate.
I've paid the $50 more then a few times because it's a Lucas show and there not being much else to go see close by. When I figure in the cost of travel to a more distant show, the $50 ain't all that much if not less then I would spend traveling farther. Only negative thing is I won't get to watch fast winged sprints. But the speeds built up at PPMS do somewhat negate the difference, but they are still just Late Models.

Being able to afford it, versus just straight price gouging people are two totally different things. I've been to 57 races all over the Northeast so far this year. I dont think because I can't "afford" it I'm not going. I just refuse to pay that price for a one-day show. Then again, not that I'm surprised with that place anymore. I'll drive to Atomic Saturday instead. I'll live not watcing the Price Gouger 100.

What it comes down to is his track it is my way take it or leave it. Trust me Miley will not lose any sleep for those who do not go. Even if I was able to go I would stay home that's my chose. Just how I see it!

I'm pretty sure everybody who attends PPMS understands the deal about prices before going. It's not like their prices were low in the past.

If there's nothing else close going on i'd pay $50 to go there and watch but never $30 to watch that show at home.

Most people seem okay with a $35 price. So for $15 more dollars Friday night you get:
Rush late model touring events heats
Rush non-winners feature
Betsy Kriegisch Memorial Rush mod heats
Full Pro stock show
Full 4 cyl show $500 to win
Full hobby stock show
Young guns
If it rains out Friday (which has happened before) you still see everything Saturday. I know Ill get torched for this but I really dont think its a bad deal unless youre choosing to go to RW7 instead. Then obviously the price to pay for both is steep.

I get it, but my problem is the same old bitch every year. Everyone knows it's expensive to see a big show at PPMS. You refuse to pay their price for a one-day show, same reason I won't go to a Steeler game.

Flash to further your analogy- its like complaining the Steelers make you buy preseason games for the privilege of overpaying for the regular season games. Some people will pay it, some wont.

Exactly. I forgot the Little Guy Nationals are that weekend. Looks like 7 Friday and Mercer Saturday for me.
